Relaxing in San Angel on a Sunday Afternoon - San Angel has so much to offer: great food, hot chocolate, colonial architecture, museums like I. Favela, and a cool vibe atmosphere. I experienced all of that on a Sunday afternoon tour. No really unique, super tour happens without a special guide. Viry, my guide, was so special. She has a passion for food and lots of experience in culinary arts. Her insights helped me understand relations between food and history during the tour. She also has great insight into the culture and history of Mexico. So, I learned a lot from her. And , I certainly enjoyed delicious food and drinks at the various stops. The 3-hour tour was also great fun just walking around, observing, and talking between stops. I am 75, and this tour was relaxing, not tiring. Viry was a big reason for the relaxing feel. She really knows how to communicate well with people. I highly recommend the tour for any day, not just on a Sunday!

5 STARS - A MUST when in Mexico. Another way to learn about its culture is thru FOOD! Chef Eduardo showed us how to make tortillas, vegan fillings, black bean stew, authentic guacamole and molè! All done in a kitchen of a beautiful home . He was patient, funny and kept us engaged and involved. 5 stars for Chef Eduardo!
