Great experience - Tour guide was very informative and receptive to questions. He even waited in line with me to ensure I got in to the Frida Kahlo Museo. Definitely worth it. Only thing I didn’t like was being constantly badgered to buy something while on the boat in Xochimilco, but that’s just the way it is.

Great tour - Great tour. Our guide Marco was very helpful and knowledgeable. Lunch was great at Xochimilco. A must do when visiting CDMX.

Great day trip ! Got our money’s worth! - Certainly saw and did a lot more than expected. Saved a lot of time trying to get to all those places on our own. The guide answered all questions and told us many interesting things. The driver was a real expert at navigating in traffic!

Xochimilco and Frida Kahlo Museum and House - Definitely a must-do! Our tour guide was fabulous as was our driver when my husband and I needed help with climbing in and out of the boats!

Great tour! - I really enjoyed this small group tour! We had a great guide who was very informative, patient as we perused for souvenirs, and funny. I particularly enjoyed the boat ride. The canal was a little crowded, but the captains handled everything well. We also had the chance to enjoy some live mariachi music on the brightly colored boats. I loved the Frida kahlo museum! Such a beautiful, meaningful space. I also enjoyed how the tour allowed us adequate time to do things on our own; it was structured, but not rigid.

Venice in Mexico - Floating on the boats at xochimilco and listening to the mariachis. Frida’s house was very interesting

Good guide and driver - a lot of driving - Overall, this was well done - very pleased with our guide (Ursula) and our driver. We spent a bit too much time at a silver shop. The biggest downside about any tour to this destination is just how much driving is involved. Over half the time was navigating the city traffic so just make sure the sites are worth the time on the roads for you.

Disappointing booking - Not what we were expecting according to the description. Instead of going straight to the three things advertised, they stopped at a couple of unnecessary locations. Although we started at 9am, we didn’t arrive at Xochimilco until around 12pm. Boarded the boat and entered an extremely crowded canal, which was not enjoyable. After finally returning to the dock, we were only allowed 15 minutes for shopping, not enough time. We traveled to Coyoacán and had about 20 minutes to look around before the Frida Kahlo museum. Once we finished our self guided tour, we had only about 20 minutes to do any local shopping. This trip was not worth it. The wasted time stopping at useless locations would have been better spent allowing for more time at the three primary locations. I would not recommend this tour, you’d be better off taking a private tour with exactly what you want to see. Also, the van that we rode in was not very clean and was tight quarters.

Nothing positive to say - We left early and then went to a shop…. There were interesting parts, stops at the university, the stadium, but the main event, the boat trip was very touristy, selling food, selling jewellery, the mariachi bands were not enjoying it any more than us. Interestingly, the Mexicans and some others found it very enjoyable but the Anglos not so much. Definitely couldn’t recommend this trip

Tour guide did not pick us up but wanted us to pay for tour - Avoid this company Interliv if you are seeking a pleasant excursion. After they initiated contact three times prior to our tour to confirm pick up details they DID NOT SHOW UP. When we called our tour operator he said there was traffic then hung up on us multiple times. When we contacted Viator they put us in contact w the tour company owner who said he would try to remedy the situation. We were offered a “similar” excursion from a different company that same day that essentially offered transportation to two of the original tour locations. Other reservations in our limited time in Mexico City were effected.
