Fantastic choice and comfortable - This is an amazing choice for sightseeing bus within Mexico city. The buses are so comfortable and clean, the routes are well covering all the main attractions in the city. The days tours organised by Turibus are so amazing with good timings, good pickup locations, on time schedules and very professional guides. Highly recommended

Okay but it may be better - The bus takes you to the pyramids but first makes a stop at a craft workshop. The workshop experience is interesting and the pyramids guide too. Then they take you to lunch and finally to the basilica of Guadeloupe. Throughout the tour it was very difficult to understand the guide because he spoke so fast and tangled. On the other hand, the bus is not in the best condition. Lunch is fine, but it may be better. Personally, the passage through the basilica did not seem very interesting. Also, a religious gift shop is wasted a lot of time. Overall the experience is fine but can be much better. It's important that you know you're not letting the pyramids up.

The best guide is a local - This was a great tour that took the stress out of travelling from the center of CDMX to Teotihuacan and accessing the site and local area. The tourbus can pick you up at several locations (National Auditorium, Zocalo, etc); I ended up in a group of four with a great bilingual guide, Manuel, who was quite knowledgeable about the areas we travelled through while on the way to the pyramids. Our first stop was to an obsidian and silver workshop where we were entertained by Jesus ("follow Jesus"!) and educated on the importance of obsidian and agave to the region and their role in the construction of the complex. We then spent about 1:45 walking around Teotihuacan (the pyramid steps were closed so no climbing to the top this time) and talking to the local vendors that were selling wares in the complex. We then travelled to a local restaurant/event hall for lunch--the food was ok (think refried beans with mashed potatoes), but the mariachi band and "indigenous" dancers that performed while we ate gave me the feeling of being in Disneyworld, and not in a good way (it was definitely for tourist groups). The last part of the trip was a visit to the Basilica de Guadalupe, which could have taken up a whole other afternoon. Overall, I enjoyed this tour; the workshop and pyramids were incredible, our guide was great, but the Basilica visit could have been longer. The one part I would skip is the restaurant, as I would have preferred the street food.

Very good! - The trip to Teotihuacan Pyramids was very good everything was on time, However I did not like the Guadalupe visit, I felt it was waste of time and we could save more time to the pyramids, the tour guide was very polite and nice and he was trying his best to explain everything, I have to say that his English was not really clear but we got the idea behind everything! our best part of the trip after the pyramids was the stop at the Glass workshop! it was super fun and we tried to the Mezcal and tequila, and got a nice gifts from there, the workshop owner Jesus was very funny and nice. the lunch was okay, not a real nice buffet but we ate since we were super hugnry

Why not to take Touribus - The Turibus trip for the Zocolo, Mexico central was okay except - It was an all day trip, but only 1 1/2 hours to actually walk around the pyramids, that are not open to climb at this time. The included lunch was good. What wasn't good was a one hour visit to a souvenir shop on the way, stopping at every concession around the pyramids and the insistence of the guide to lower his mask while talking close to the guests. I'd suggest just taking an Uber as it will be cheaper and you'll actually spend the day at the pyramids something Touribus doesn't really offer.

Would not recommend to anyone - We initially booked as we were attracted by the price, convenience and the ability to see multiple sights in one day whilst learning some history. Unfortunately, the whole tour is simply Turibuses way to try to get you to spend money on souvenirs and other things. They literally take you from one selling point to another “buy these hats, buy these postcards, buy this obsidian” - for the whole tour. The guides who we were expecting to teach us something about Teotihuacan etc are basically sales people, spent 2-3 minutes talking about the high level facts as quickly as possible before pushing souvenirs onto you, and giving you “free time”, you as a customer are simply money bags to them. In the end we tagged along with another group lead by a historian to learn something. Perhaps the most cheekiest thing was when they offer their hat for personal donations at the end of the tour! Utterly shameless. Giving two stars as the buffet food wasn’t terrible - though doesn’t include cost of drinks, or donations for the mariachi band and tribal performance you will be obliged to pay for. Another negative is the tour over-ran by like 2 hours, at the final stop (which of course is a gift shop) we just left and walked back ourselves. Wouldn’t recommend the tour to anyone, hire your own travel and get a proper guide so you actually learn something and don’t waste precious limited time.

They don't return the money - The same thing happened to me as the previous person, I wanted to cancel 24 hours in advance and they kept all the money. The advertised cancellation policy is illegal and not correct. Be careful, another type of fraud characteristic of Mexico City.

IT IS A BIG SCAM THE CANCELLATION POLICY DOES NOT EXIST - This tour is a scam, the cancellation policy says the following: "If you want a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the start date of the activity" but it is a lie. I had to cancel 24 hours before due to illness and THEY LEFT THE MONEY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS DON'T PAY ANYTHING, IF ANY EVENT HAPPENS TO THEM THEY DO NOT GIVE A REFUND. SCAMMERS.

Visit the pyramids, but not with this company! - This company's tour to the Teotihuacan pyramids is a tourist trap, don't go! A tour that could take between 3 and 4 hours takes 7. You will spend hours in overpriced local craft stores where Turtour earns commission on sales. The pyramids are beautiful, be sure to go with someone who won't waste your time. I would have liked to make the most of the wasted hours by going to a museum, having lunch or walking around Mexico City.

Dishonest and unreliable - Stay away from Turibus and Turitour. The latter, I bought a tour with the staff of the hop on hop off bus to go to see the pyramids on another day. They didn't show up at the scheduled time at 8:40 am and I spent ONE HOUR waiting and calling them. After a lot of trying, I was told to take a taxi and go to the other side of the city. I said that they were the ones who should come to the place that was marked on the voucher, and not the other way around. I asked for a refund and they did NOT return the money. They are, after all, dishonest. In the case of the Turibus, they have few schedules and you can barely make the 2 lines out of the 5 they offer in one day. You wait too long for the next bus to pass. Take another company that seems to be much more professional.
