Perfect for efficiency if you don’t mind getting up early on vacation. - Great to be there so early and without the crowds. We got very lucky with the weather (nice and cool until about the time we finished). It was really cool to see the Queens House and the murals. The dogs roaming through were a great plus. One followed us and demanded pets. Yvonne was really helpful with the basic info. It was nice to be done early so we could do more sightseeing in the afternoon. We got back pretty much right at 12.

Transportation to and from air bnb, walked about 3 hours, and shopped from a few vendors. - Beatrice was so amazing!
She was very descriptive, well aware of the history of Teotihucan and loved that she wad bilingual.
Very friendly and approachable as well😊 Muchas gracias!

Quick and easy trip - Pick up and drop off logistics were very easy via WhatsApp. felt like we got to see everything even though it was a shorter amount of time than some of the other tour options. For about two thirds of the actual tour our guide translated from Spanish to English from an expert/archeologist who had participated in some of the excavations.

WORTH it! Best tour experience, well-timed/paced. - So much to rave about with this tour. With the countless options to hit up Teotihuacan Pyramids, I can't say how grateful I am that I found the right one.
This includes convenient hotel pick-up, caps off at 10 people, and gets an early start on the day. Not only does this allow for a more comfortable experience once you're at the pyramids, as the heat hasn't yet set in but...it gets you back to Mexico City at noon, right in time for lunch. I noticed some tours have a lot of add-ons but everyone in our group agreed that this really is the way to go, as it moves at just the right flow and pace.
I'm always a huge fan of when things run efficiently and they have that down pat. Hotel pickup was punctual (exact time is communicated via text the night prior) and our driver Carlos swiftly navigated each pickup and got us to the destination in a timely manner, even working in one gas station stop for snacks and coffee as needed. One nice touch giving us each a bottle of water and granola bar snack.
Upon arrival, our guide Ivonne told us everything we needed to know. We caught a glimpse of the hot air balloons that took off earlier that morning, then proceeded to walk through the intriguing archaeological highlights before we headed off to see both pyramids, the Moon and Sun. Ivonne was truly fantastic! So engaging and informative. She had a trainee Maga who was also nice. Both were kind and offered to snap photos at any point during the tour and again we moved at truly the perfect pace.
Yvonne even worked in a couple of vendor stops without any pressure to purchase whatsoever...thought that was a nice touch to have us experience. One man demonstrated all his different animal-sound horns; another, the features and benefits of real obsidian.
I LOVED this tour and fully recommend to anyone, all ages - definitely one of the highlights of my experience in Mexico City.

Informative and Efficient Tour - Fast and efficient tour. Picked up and dropped off at Airbnb. No nonsense, quick stop at gas station for essentials, then to pyramids, informative tour, and straight back to Mexico City. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Go on this tour if you want to avoid tourist sales traps.

Great morning tour ! - This was a great tour! Our guide Vidal was so knowledgable and gave an excellent tour. It was nice to get to the ruins early as it got more crowded and hot later in the morning . It’s such an impressive site on its own but we learned so much from our guide as well.

Avoid the crowds - This was a great trip and was a great way to see Teotihuacan before the crowds leading to some fantastic pictures. We got back between 1/2pm which left the rest of the day to see other parts of the city.

One Way Mexico Trip is an entity without a heart! - I booked this tour through Get Your Guide on 6/6/24, to visit the Teotihuacan site the next day (6/7/24). The night before the tour, right after dinner, I became severely ill with food poisoning and ended up spending the entire night with terrible diarrhea and dehydration in my hotel room. In the middle of my ordeal, I managed to notify the tour operator that I was not going to be able to participate in the tour and in hopes of getting a refund. I let them know that I was a 3rd-age person in a serious health condition, visiting Mexico City and bound to fly back to my country of residence the next day.
Initially, all I encountered was the typical wall of silence, as if to ignore me, and eventually, when I heard from them, it was to "chastise" me for having written a review, which had been solicited by the platform through which I booked this tour. My review was honest and consistent with my experience.
One Way Mexico Trips claimed that, by publishing a review in Get Your Guide's platform, "I had left them without any option to offer me a solution". Here's exactly what they said in Spanish: "Sin embargo, dado que ya has emitido una evaluación, nos dejas sin opción de ofrecerte una alternativa".
Despite my pleas and efforts to get a different outcome, though several contacts via WhatsApp messaging, emails and phone calls with both, Get Your Guide and One Way Mexico Trips, THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO MAKE THEM RECONSIDER AN EXCEPTION to their cancellation/refund policy regarding my case.
In my opinion, One Way Mexico Trips is a tour operator without a heart, with lacking customer support and more interested in getting your money than to truly servicing their clients. I do not recommend it!
