Steph and Pepe create a great experience! - This was a great educational experience. Blending ancient history, Meso-american history, modern history, and current events and how all of these blend, have patterns and repeat in many ways. Steph presents this vast amount of knowledge in bite size peices. She is a very good teacher and guide. She shows her love for this subject and frequently encourages questions and prompts your thoughts with her honest and thorough commentary. We were picked up at our apartment on time introduced breifly to fellow travelers and on the road to our destination with a scheduled pit stop. Take advantage of this for snacks. We arrive early one of the first tours a great advantage. We toured virtually alone for an hours( the vendors were not even set up yet! ) Having a great driver and protector like Pepe is a great advantage in all the logistics. Do not forget your water and hat (as I did), it gets warmer as the day goes on. He drove and watched our thing while we toured, no worries. We spent all morning touring the site, our group was small 7 including us. But it can be up to 25. We stayed on schedule. These three temples are breathtaking in there ancestry, age, and beautiful architecture. The story behind the civilizations is fascinating and fun! The Spring equinox features prominently, reminds me of Stonehinge, mystery and wonder of the structure is astounding for the times it was built in. Steph explains all of this and more. I am 62, my husband is 63, we found the walks and climbs very doable. The rest of our group include a young married couple, (she was expecting(baby bump)) and three young ladies. No one had any issues. After the tour we ate lunch, presentation, mezcal tasting (yum) toured one of the stores and back on the road to Mexico City. The van was comfortable and a siesta on the way back for many. Only a bit of traffic and we were back at our apartment by 1400. This was a great tour. I recommend it to all! Steph and Pepe created a great experience!!
