- Piramide de la Serpiente Emplumada - This is the third largest structure in Teotihuacan, an ancient Mesoamerican city located in Mexico. - Pirámide de La Luna - The Pyramid of the Moon marks the northern end of the Causeway of the Dead, giving it significant symbolic meaning. It is the most prominent feature of one of the city’s most harmonious urban spaces, the Plaza de la Luna. This expansive area, surrounded by 13 foundations with typical Teotihuacan architectural features, was once fully painted and served as an ideal setting for public rituals. At the pyramid’s base is Structure A, framed by two foundations, containing nine altars on the walls and one in the center, symbolizing the cardinal and intercardinal points and the universe’s center.
