Great day trip from Mexico City - We did the Trekking through the volcanos hike on 1/30. Our guide was friendly and accommodating. Trek was just under 8 miles. Scenery was spectacular. I would definitely recommend.

This was a great... - This was a great experience! The views were incredible. The hike was not technically difficult, but steep at times. This made it challenging enough to be enjoyable. I loved the lunch at the end of the hike, there were so many options! I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking to get out of the city to experience nature.

Nice all day intermediate hike - This was a nice hiking day trip I would definitely call intermediate if you’re used to doing any longer hikes at all or afraid to do things on your own. We had a group of 16 including some children and everyone had to stay together and everyone finished. Depending on the season you probably don’t need a rain jacket or change of clothes… not sure why they advised those. The best thing to have (hiked on New Year’s Eve) is clothing layers as it was quite cold when we started but warm by the end. The company also provided a Mexican sandwich, snickers bar, peanuts, another amaranth bar and water. Also a nice lunch of tacos from a roadside taqueria on the way back when finished. If you get carsick, take medicine as it’s a two hour drive each way. Both guides were also very nice and we hiked about six miles total at 10k feet altitude.

Awesome Hike! - Our guide, Alberto, was great! He introduced himself to the group and made sure we all knew who each other were. He also made sure to take frequent breaks for our group to make sure everyone was ok - that altitude is more difficult than you may think! Bring something to cover your mouth! The ground looks like sand, but it's ash and it does get kicked up just by walking, so you end up breathing a lot of it in.

Well organized - Well organized tour. Plenty of bathroom breaks, the hike was scenic, and lunch was delicious. We had quesadillas and tacos. There was a ton of volcanic dust on the hike, you should bring a mask or neckerchief.

book it - The tour was fantastic! It took about two hours to reach the park, where we walked approximately 12 kilometers. Along the way, we enjoyed stunning views of both volcanoes and beautiful grassy valleys. We also traversed a forest that featured charming streams and picturesque waterfalls. Our guide Carlos was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to take as much or as little rest as we wanted and walk at a pace that suited our group. I am really glad I decided to book this tour, and I highly recommend it to others.

Amazing and helpful guide gave us an exceptional experience - Bernardo was a very nice and knowledgeable tour guide. He shared so much interesting info about the trail and volcanos around the area. We came from a city at the sea level and had some altitude sickness. Bernardo took care of us well and we were able to complete the trail. Thank you Bernardo! We highly recommend this trip to anyone who has a good physical fitness.
