Rivera revealed! - Our guide, Balaam, is passionate about the historical significance of 20th century artists. Orozco and Diego Rivera depicted the struggles of the Mexican peoples and the importance of where the Mexican people originated. It was eye opening.

An excellent art and history that goes beyond a typical tour. - Balaam was very knowledgeable, he added a lot of history to the information about the art, he answered many questions, we thought his tour was one of the best we’ve had. He knows so much about the murals he could adapt elsewhere when he discovered that one of the buildings wasn’t open for the tour.

Balaam gave an in-depth... - Balaam gave an in-depth tour of the important muralists in CDMX. He helped us understand the works by shedding light on the artists thinking and knowledge of symbols relevant to Mexicans. I gave this tour guide 5 stars. He has a background in history and cares about the ideas expressed through this art.

Thorough, knowledgeable, and kind- Balaam was great! - Very fun and thorough tour! Balaam was an amazing guide! We saw all the major stops in Historic Centro and he was so knowledgeable. He also took us to this delicious taco spot after the tour and went above and beyond to help us find our way after the tour was over. Really a kind human and I’m so thankful he was our tour guide! Plus lots of walking- which I love :)

Great guide - We got to know much of the Mexican worldview and its 20th century history thanks to the murals and the excellent layout of Balaam. History professional. Nice to hear you. Balaam is also a good person, who got us out of trouble when we didn't know how to take the transport, and so we met him at first.

Excellent Tour - The guide was very nice and knowledgeable, with a good command of English. He walks fast, which was not great for us, but he also tried to accommodate this when he could and showed us elevators. He clearly went over the time we were to have with him, which was very generous of him. It's hard to orient yourself in some of these murals places/museums, and it's also difficult to understand all aspects of these complex works, so I would really recommend this tour, especially since it is so very hard to get into the Palacio Nacional, where many other Riveras can be found. PN is currently open to the public on Fridays only, and you have to get there early to reserve a slot that might well be much later in the day. Note that the murals tour does not take you to the PN but to the Murals Museum Diego Rivera and to the Palacio de Bellas Artes. We also lucked out and got to go to a former extension of the University of Mexico, which is not always open to the public.
