Splendid Day All Around Mexico City! - After doing a variety of group excursions, it was a true treat to book a full day private tour for 2 couples. Our guide, Maryana, picked us up in front of our airbnb in her clean, comfort, spacious van at 9 am and dropped us off in front of our airbnb around 6:30 pm after a fascinating and fun day. It’s impossible not to like Maryana immediately. Her petite frame packs a lot of energy, kindness, exuberance, and joy of sharing her deep knowledge of all things Mexico City. It’s easy to spend a day with Maryana. She drove us out to the University to talk about the murals and the educational system. We spent time in Coyoacan and enjoyed the canal ride. But a true highlight was an add on visit, at Maryana’s recommendation, to Museum Anahuacalli, where Diego Rivera stored so many national treasures (an extra 20 pesos because we are 60+). Maryana helped us understand the significance of this fascinating place along with all the other stops we made. We enjoyed a fun lunch in the market. While the canal boat ride might seem a bit touristy (and if you do the ride, you do want to do it with a knowledgeable guide so you don’t get ripped off), what we noticed were so many Mexican families out in the boats enjoying life and each other. The numerous mariachi bands added to the festive environment. A day learning about the culture of Mexico City with Maryana is a day well spent. Highly recommend.

Perfect organised tour - We started with a relaxing boat ride through the colorful canals of Xochimilco, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Our guide, Steph shared interesting stories about the area’s history and culture, making the experience even more special. Afterward, we visited the charming neighborhood of Coyoacán, where we explored cobblestone streets, lively markets, and the famous Frida Kahlo Museum. The day was filled with culture, history, and beautiful sights. The tour was perfectly organized, and we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop.

A Fun experience - What a great private tour of Xochimilco and Coyoacán! Floating through the beautiful canals of Xochimilco was so relaxing. We were able to bring our own food and enjoy a picnic on the boat. In Coyoacán, we walked through the famous Jardín Centenario, and the guide told us fascinating stories about the area's past. Such a fun and cultural experience!

Wow! Fantastico! - Wow! We only had one full day in Mexico City and Franck made it spectacular. 20 years of experience he was a wealth of knowledge. Very personable, fantastic English for easy understanding and conversation. We got to see so much and have the best tostados I ever had, delicious coffee and churros. If there is some thing that you wanted to see or someplace that you wanted to go that wasn’t on the agenda he is happy to oblige and make changes I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Visiting the pyramids - Oh gosh, we so enjoyed our time with Mariana. She picked us up at the hotel and took us on a wonderful full day tour. We got to see beautiful Mexico, and learn about some of its history. She was accommodating to my dad, who is 77. We climed hills slowly, for his benefit, and still got the chance to see everything. She took me to a place that I had visited once during a spirit walk with sacred medicine. When we arrived there my breath was taken away, and I had tears. She saw me cry, was concerned as to why....so I told her that a beautiful sacred spirit medicine had brought me to this exact spot before. She appeared touched with my story, and made sure I had a wildflower picked from that spot to keep - it's still in-between my phone and it's case. I look forward to returning to Mexico someday soon, and even more to hiring Mariana again for another tour. The first one was perfect.
