Great guide, special day of magical Frida and colorful boats - We loved the boat tour, it was morning so very mellow which was great for my family w kids ages 9,11,14.. The other highlights were tostadas in the coyocan market and Frida's house. Sergio was accommodating, kind, professional . And patient while we walked the 2 markets and chose nice handicraft souvenirs.

Best value to see each area properly and save time! - After much research, so glad we booked this trip. As others have noted, although it is a group tour, we were the only ones and had our own driver and guide. Ricardo our driver was excellent and Sergio our guide was super informative and helpful, buying us snacks and giving us tips. This trip is the best value in terms of saving time and getting to see each area properly. Yes, it is more expensive than other tours but you get to spend proper time in each area and it is essentially a private tour; we got the same boat ride for 1 hour as bigger groups and as we arrived early, we got to go further and see more of the canal even if it wasn't as lively, we walked around San Angel for about 45minutes with the guide, stopping on the way to take pictures of the University Library and Stadium, in Cocoyan, we went to Frida Kahlo and then went to the market for a delicious tostados lunch and stopped for coffee and churros as we walked round the town. The day was around 9am to 4.30pm. Other tours we looked at for the same trip (without San Angel which was gorgeous) were 7.50am to 6pm and, as the traffic is really bad, I imagine they would have been later as we saw such tours arriving about 45minutes after us at Xochimilco and having read reviews, it seems that those larger tours have to choose between Frida Kahlo or a tour of Cocoyan whereas we got both and Cocoyan is so lovely and the market and food fabulous, you would not want to miss it! My only suggestion would have been that we joined other small groups on the canal as it wasn't as fun just having a boat for us 2 and would have been fine given that we expected a group tour!

An Unforgettable Day - My friends and I went on a tour with Sergio to Xochimilco, Diego Rivera’s collection and a wonderfully charming neighborhood with a food market and art market. The entire experience was magical! Sergio is such an expert and wonderful teacher in a wide range of subjects. From Aztec art to the geographical history of Mexico City, his stories and anecdotes were luminescent. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City and cannot thank Sergio enough!

What a great day! Xochimilco and so much more! - This was our second time in two years to Xochimilco. Although it was a group tour, just my friend and I had booked it, so our guide, Ricardo, could tailor it to our wishes. We enjoyed the Coyocan market and walked the whole thing, buying fruits and souvenirs and having fun. We decided to forgo the Blue House since we visited last year. We spent an extra hour at Xochimilco and Ricardo also drove us through the plant market next door. Nice!
