The views are stunning, morphing with every step up the mountain, thereby offering a unique and picturesque trekking experience. Embarking on a hike at altitudes over 3800 meters on Mexico’s third towering summit is an unforgettable exploit.
ITEMS TO PACK: Insulated attire, Sturdy mountain footwear (avoid sneakers), Compact rucksack for your hydration, munchies, and extra outer garment. Fuel up with a hearty meal before embarking on the hike. Be sure to have a liter of water for the journey. Carry along provisions and a midday meal to enjoy atop the mountain. Remember to pack dual layers of jackets/sweaters and a waterproof coat for the wet season. Also include protective eyewear, sunblock, a hat, a long-sleeve top. Opt for trekking bottoms or stretch pants instead of denim. It’s wise to have a poncho and mittens readily available.
