Great sailing experience!!! 5 stars - We recently went sailing with David in Miami and it was amazing. It was the best activity we had while in Florida. David was super nice and very good with the children. If you want to have a great sailing experience, we recommend you David and salty Miami sailing, sailing adventure in Miami Biscayne Bay. We will definitely do it again next time we visit Miami.

Interesting and unique way to explore Miami on the water - Honestly, this experience is just as weird and interesting as it looks. The Hobie catamaran we sailed on could comfortably seat about 8 people, but we were joined by just one other couple on our trip (4 passengers + captain David). We had a small miscommunication prior to reservation, but that was innocent enough. The excursion is very dependent on the weather - the catamaran is entirely green and if there's no wind, you paddle. Example: on the day before our trip was a big storm, so that group was rescheduled to the afternoon of our day. And our trip was mostly without wind. We were scheduled for 10 AM but both groups were a bit late so we were on the water closer to 10:45. We floated around the bay for a few hours chatting and looking for points of interest nearby. We stopped at a little sand bar/island for some snacks and snorkeling - the snorkeling was a bit underwhelming, but we enjoyed some time in the water and the provided fruit, hummus, chips, etc. and we brought some beers along too. After our stop, the picked up a tad and we checked out a couple historic buildings along the bay and tried the harness you see in so many photos. We made it back to land around 3 pm. All in all, this was a very enjoyable experience, but it helps to know what you're getting into. The details and timing of the experience are subject to change, but they will try their hardest to make it a good time. It's not exactly my jam, but I would probably do it again only because I think every trip with them is different haha.

I'm sailing!!! - This experience was everything I was hoping for and MORE! Captain David was fantastic and is really passionate about sailing and the Biscane Bay area. If you are looking to relax and experience Biscane Bay on the water, book this experience! While I have very little experience on the water, my partner is an experienced boat Captain. We BOTH absolutely adored this experience! Captain David took us to sand bars where we could walk around in knee deep water and putter around with snorkel masks on! He provided snacks and drinks to munch on all while enjoying the cooling waters of the bay and the beautiful Miami skyline! We even saw a manatee surface in the water! Want to be a little more adventurous? Captain David will let you trapeze hang from the boat!! Now, I'm not the tiniest lady...and have a tendency to be a bit clumsy; with Captain David's instruction, I was able to hang from the rigging and skim the water while under full sail! If you are questioning whether you can do it - YOU CAN and YOU SHOULD! A couple notes: 1) Definitely use the restroom before you head out on the water. 2) You WILL get wet so make sure you bring a change of clothes (the water feels AMAZING). 3) If you get sunburn easily, you are going to need sunscreen! 4) Keep in mind that sailing is completely dependent on the wind - no wind, no movement. Nevertheless, Captain David will keep you well-informed on the weather, but if the wind dies down while you are out on the Bay, your adventure may be a little longer than anticipated! We loved this intimate adventure and would recommend and definitely do it again! Thank you, Captain David!

Great day sailing with the family - Brilliant day out with David, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this sailing trip. We don’t really like the big charter boat trips and this experience was exactly what we were looking for.

Great Unique Sailing Experience - WOW! Phenomenal experience, we sailed so far, went to some great sandbars, saw lots of different corners of the bay and had snacks! Went snorkeling and got to hang off the boat while sailing in wind. Definitely great experience! Captain David was awesome and it was great to watch the sunset! 10/10 recommend

Fantastic & authentic adventure - Our family of 3 was looking for something natural, different, and a little adventurous for the Miami area - and Captain David Berenguer (there are 3 Davids) delivered! We boarded the small catamaran & sailed to "stiltsville" off Key Biscayne, where we snorkeled in clear, warm, shallow water. Then we headed to No Name Harbor for another dip & a delicious mojito (limeade for our 17 year old daughter), then we sailed to Paradise Island for a short visit, then back home. David told great stories of when he sailed from Spain to the US, and the views of Miami and the ocean were fantastic. No fluff, no frills, but a truly excellent adventure!

Great Sailing Experience - First time sailing with Eco adventure and David. I had great times and learned practical skills that improve my sailing experience at other places. David is so knowledgeable and passionate about sailing and racing. He’s the best to learn from. He is also very accommodating in terms of the area and skills you would like to focus on. I hope to sail again soon with David!!

Stormy weather - Captain David was very friendly and knowledgeable. The break at the sandbar was nice. Unfortunately, some unexpected very bad weather made the excursion uniquely memorable.
