Wonderfully Full Day in the Everglades - Including Dolphins! - We had a full day in the everglades with an airboat tour, boat tour, walking tour and lunch. We saw dozens and dozens of alligators (including babies), turtles, wading birds, a roseate spoon bill, and a dolphin family (including a baby!). The dolphins followed in the wake of our boat. Lindsay was an excellent guide and the day went smoothly from start to finish. We highly recommend this tour. It was very nice being picked up and dropped off at our hotel.

Wild Lime Adventures/Abigail BEST TOUR EVER - Abigail is very knowledgeable and attentive. A GREAT tour guide! Loved every minute! Our grandchildren learned so much! We had Abigail on 3 different occasions (1 last year, 2 this year), and every visit, we learned something new. Very knowledgeable with Everglades, flowers, animals, birds. Thank you SO much Abigail! Thanks so much Wild Lime Adventures for such a great experience!

This is the way to Really See The Everglades! - It was both a fun and very interesting day with Wild Lime Adventures. Tour Guide and Driver Extraordinaire, Ryan, provided a full day of top notch adventure! We “dry walked” Cypress strands, we boated 10,000 Islands and we Air Boated the sawgrasses of the Everglades. The thrills didn’t end there…there was more to enjoy! Especially Wildlife and History!! It started with the Pangea landmass breakup around 200 million years ago that created a flat Florida with watersheds. The Calusa Native Americans began a shell civilization that eventually evolved into Miccosukee and Seminole tribes living in the Everglades. We met the tour at the Miccosukee General Store where on our own we enjoyed coffee and breakfast before the day trip. In the cooler morning eight of us dry walked in Big Cypress Preserve learning about flora and fauna. We then drove in our comfy air conditioned van to Joanie’s Blue Crab Diner in Everglade City for a tasty lunch. Joanie is a Hoot and we liked both the food and vibe. On to 10,000 Island for a boat trip. Do not miss the Smallwood museum in Chokoloskee! It was an unexpected return to Trading Post days and it’s chock-a-block full of antiques and descriptions of life in the 1900s. Fascinating! Captain Tristan picked us up for a boat ride thru the 10,000 Islands that would have me lost in minutes. Osprey, mangroves and those amazing dolphins leaping in our boat wake was exhilarating! Returning to the marsh for our Air Boat ride we made a quick stop to see the Clyde and Niki Butcher Gallery for a look at some amazing professional photographs of the Everglades. The Miccosukee Air Boat ride was lovely with many herons in the wetlands and we spotted a few baby alligators. The Big Gators were earlier in the trip. An Island stop where the Native Americans first settled was my least favorite part of the trip since it had a Chickee that wasn’t original and not much else to kill time. We would have preferred more Air Boat time with an opportunity to take photographs in the River of Grass. All in all it was a great day encompassing different Everglade sites with the backstories including history, conservation and wildlife spotting. Ryan knew his stuff and gave us the facts in an easily digested format. If we found something of interest while driving he would stop to share those highlights. Highly recommended all day tour.

Armando: Sage of the Everglades - I'm not local. I'm an artist from Philadelphia visiting the Everglades as research for a play. I hitched a lot on this trip. I wanted a full-experience of the natural environment, but I also wanted a thorough, personal understanding of the Indigenous and Black history of these lands. This is a tall-order, so I was prepared to have ungranted wishes. I was not prepared to receive exactly what I dreamed of and more. Not only is Armando extremely knowledgeable, confident, and kind, his passion and activism for environmental conservation was a revelation. Every action and every word was filtered through this lens. Armando struck a delicate balance of honesty and humor, disarming us with charm. I was impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge of wildlife and plants, but even more so by his nimbleness and attention to detail as he led our group through several planned (and unplanned) activities. He made this trip well worth its price. When I return to the Everglades, I will be sure to book with him again and again!

Great tour! - Very laid back and friendly tour guide and very appropriate pacing made this pretty big tour feel very manageable. Probably one of the top five tours I've ever taken - the airboat blew my mind (and we saw baby crocodiles), the "cruise" blew my mind (dolphins chased us in the boat and kept jumping out of the water for us), and I saw probably 60 alligators. Amazing stuff.

Well worth a trip - Absolutely amazing, learnt so much off of Ryan, had no clue about the Everglades before the trip and walked away with great knowledge afterwards. The airboat was amazing too, we loved the whole adventure.
