  • Agustin Gainza Arts and Tavern - gustin Gainza Arts and Tavern is widely known as Taberna del Pintor. A new concept in Little Havana with a unique ambiance in Miami’s Historic Calle 8 district, with the main protagonist Agustin Gainza. A South Florida art scene staple for over 15 years, Now, you can admire the art of Agustín Gaínza. His trajectory spans more than 4 decades dedicated to drawing, etchings, ceramics and his constant medium, painting. He has exhibited in galleries in the United States, Europe and the Carribean, including his native country, Cuba.
  • Calle Ocho - World famous and an international destination. Holds the annual Calle Ocho Festival as well as many others. With Art Galleries, Museums, Restaurants, and much more to see.
  • Domino Park - Early Morning and afternoon and the beginning of a new week. Laughter and voices mix simultaneously, a perfect match for the festive ambiance. Dominoes smack against several tables, the clatter rising into a melody.

Maximo Gomez Park, better known as Domino Park, is like many other Miami places, a convergence of different identities. It is here, in Little Havana, in the space on the corner of Southwest Eighth Street and 15th Avenue — just steps away from the Tower Theater — that locals have played Dominoes for decades. Now tourists insist on bearing witness to the game in which camaraderie and rivalry intertwine. Silence gives way to concentration. Dominoes and laughter, like castanets, interrupt the truce and signal that the game has started on the table under one of the gazebos. Truly an experience you won’t forget.

  • Miami Tower - MDC’s Tower Theater is one of Miami’s oldest cultural landmarks. When it opened in December 1926, it was the finest state-of-the-art theater in the South. It is located on SW Eighth Street and Fifteenth Avenue in Miami, Florida. During the late fifties and throughout the sixties, large numbers of Cuban refugees fled to Miami. The area surrounding S.W. Eighth Street - “Calle Ocho” - became a place of new beginnings. For many Cuban families, films at MDC’s Tower Theater were an introduction to American culture in addition to pure entertainment. Soon MDC’s Tower Theater altered its programming to include English-language films with Spanish subtitles, and eventually Spanish-language films. It is still operating after 97 years.
  • Ball & Chain - Iconic nightclub from the 1930s-1950s reemerges as a live-music venue with Cuban-style food & drink. We visit with a pass-by and finish here for those who want to stay after the tour is over with discounts and specials.

Highly recommend this tour! - My daughter and I took this tour with Angel. It ended up just being the three of us, which was perfect because it allowed it to be very tailored to our interests. Angel is very passionate and his Cuban heritage and sharing that with others. This tour was a perfect blend of food, history and culture. We all enjoyed our time together so much that the tour ended up being almost 4 hours. Not only did we have a great time, but also made a new friend!

Fantastic tour with full of history and culture - Big thanks to our guide Angel for showing us the real Little Havana. Angel makes sure to bring you to locally owned stores while walking you through the history of Cuba from the time many Cubans emigrated to the US. It feels like walking through a neighborhood with a friend. Thanks a lot for the great tour, we will be back whenever we visit Miami again! - Lasse from Denmark and Dahye from South Korea

Amazing Experience!! - Angel did a phenomenal job taking us around Little Havana. He was incredibly knowledgeable, particularly about the Bay of Pigs. Clearly, he loves his job and what he does. It was not a tourist-y thing—it felt very authentic. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Not as advertised - Did not go on the tour. The start of the tour was in a 'sketchy' part of town. Parking was difficult and or expensive. Called the tour guide / organization and told him I needed to cancel. While he said he understood and would do so, I was still fully charged. The amount was just under $200 for two people that included a walking tour and local finger food. This seems quite an excessive amount considering the nature of the tour (i.e. walking and minimal food).

The Worst Communication - I booked this tour and paid for a $30 Uber to get to the tour. We were very disappointed to received an email 6 minutes to the tour started that it was cancelled due to the Christmas Holiday. I’m soooo mad and my kids are very disappointed. Now we are stuck out here!!’

Tour Guide Was a No Show - Traveled to Miami on September 20 ... we arrived earlier so I booked this tour. We Ubered to Little Havana at 3:30pm for a 4pm tour. We waited at the bakery, as instructed. The owner of the bakery confirmed we were at the right place. At 4:10pm, no tour guide had arrived so we contacted Viator. We communicated the issue, and they tried to reach the merchant. Viator responded at 4:20pm they were unable to reach the merchant. We were told we would be issued a refund, but as of September 26, they have not issued the refund. We would have loved to do this tour, but buyer beware. I can imagine a Wednesday at 4pm would not be popular (as no other individuals were waiting), so if I had any recommendations, it would be to do at a more popular time with more individuals.
