A Journey Through Los Haitises National Park

The day began with a sense of anticipation as I embarked on a private tour to explore the wonders of Los Haitises National Park. After our exploration of Los Haitises, we made our way to the Yanigua Waterfall. The all-natural clay spa by the river was a unique experience, leaving my skin feeling rejuvenated and smooth. As I relaxed under the waterfall, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of connection with the natural world around me. The buffet lunch, with its array of local delicacies, was the perfect way to refuel after a morning of adventure. It was a feast for the senses, with flavors that danced on my palate.

Ascending Montaña Redonda

The final leg of our journey took us to Montaña Redonda, a mountain that offers panoramic views of the island’s northeast coast. The ascent in a safari truck was thrilling, with the wind in my hair and the promise of breathtaking vistas awaiting us at the summit. As we reached the top, the view was nothing short of spectacular. The landscape stretched out before us, a tapestry of greens and blues that seemed to go on forever.

Swinging on the famous swings at the top of Montaña Redonda was an exhilarating experience, with the world spread out beneath me. It was a moment of pure joy and freedom, a reminder of the simple pleasures in life. As the day came to a close, I reflected on the incredible journey we had embarked upon.
