Miches - After picking you up at your hotel, we will go directly to a small typical dominican house, where you can observe many types of Dominican plants and fruit trees, animals and the preparation of coffee and cocoa in nature. Miches - After picking you up at your hotel, we will go directly to a small typical dominican house, where you can observe many types of Dominican plants and fruit trees, animals and the preparation of coffee and cocoa in nature. We will taste the freshly made coffee, tea and cocoa and we will have also different drinks for the rest of the day.
We will go up the mountain in an official safari-type truck where the adrenaline is guaranteed. When we get to the mountain, we will be able to discover: the swings, the lookout, the witch’s brooms, the hammocks, and the zip line, and we will have indefinite free time to enjoy all of them.
Afterwards we will have Dominican lunch, with the views from the top of the mountain.
The next stop will be to go look for the buggies or ATVS with which we will begin the third part of the tour.
Once we are ready, we will go to explore the rice fields, virgin beaches, the union of the river with the ocean, and sight of wild animals along the way, where we will enjoy some natural coconuts and we can take a bath on the beach.
Finally, we will have an area where we can remove the sand and beach water so we can return more comfortable in transportation.

Available every day of the week, we work with small groups and tour leaders, high possibility of doing it privately. You will have plenty of time to take photos. You will discover everything related to the world of coffee and cocoa, the true Dominican fauna and flora on this flexible time trip, where we will always move on your own time and without rushing. You will have cold drinks at your disposal throughout all the activity, and you will receive a list of what we recommend bringing to the excursion.
If the day seems to be rainy, don’t worry, this activity is compatible with those days, and remember that this tropical climate usually rains for 2 minutes!
At the end of the tour we will visit a store where you will find variety of merchandise and natural productos at good prices.
Remember that the typical house has a ranch, where you can find horses, cows, birds and much more around the plantations and fruit trees.
You can choice between Buggy or ATV, mínimum 2 persons per vehicle.

Magical and unique family experience - Magical day living up to our expectations by his side alone with our super Guide Manuel who was very careful with us.
It is an experience that we highly recommend because unique experience to live in the company of locals who made us discover many things.
The little one plus the meal at the top of the mountain a delight 🥰

If you only do one excursion-this is the one - This excursion was perfect! Our leader, Nelly, was so very thoughtful. She made sure we had everything we needed, and didn’t miss anything. The typical house was very interesting. We learned a lot and saw many flowers, fruit, and animals. The mountaintop did not disappoint! The views were breathtaking, and just nothing you will see at the resorts. Lunch was delicious and generously portioned. The highlight had to be the ATV ride to the beach. To say it was beautiful does not do it justice. Nelly never made us feel rushed, and she took lots of pictures of my husband and I together. Worth every penny!!

Fun, Interesting, and Action-Packed Tour! - My friend and I had a blast on this full-day excursion. Excellent value for the money! Nelly was super sweet and accommodating and we learned so much from her.
I especially enjoyed visiting the farmhouse to learn about the different native plants and fruits and to see how cacao is harvested and made into chocolate.
My other favorite activity was riding the ATVS out to an incredible pristine, secluded beach through an expansive natural grove of palm trees and herds of grazing horses. The amazing views of Montana Rodonda in the background were just icing on the cake!
And don't forget, this tour also includes incredible views and activities at the TOP of Montana Rodonda, plus a delicious lunch and shopping opportunities.
If you want to experience a little of everything and get off the beaten path during your stay in the Dominican Republic, do yourself a favor and book this wonderful tour.

Awesome!!! - Why can't I give this 10 stars??? Nellie was amazing! She actually asked us to reschedule because a different day would have nicer weather. Thank you! Our originally scheduled day was rain all day.
1) Dominican house. Fascinating. Nellie was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and Dominican culture. We got to taste cocoa beans at every point in the process. I never knew unsweetened cocoa could taste so good!
2) On to Montana Redonda. Exquisite! We were the only ones there and everyone saw to our every need. The food they prepared was better than the resort.
3) ATVs. Fun! Their knowledgeable guide made sure we were very safe. We rode through forests, rice fields and coconut groves to our own private beach where we could splash in the water.
4) Souvenir shop. Nellie made sure to help us find the best of what we were looking for.
The whole day was very relaxed and we never felt rushed. Nellie made sure we were entertained the whole time and shared her knowledge of the DR. Even made many suggestions to help in future trips. She also made sure we were provided plenty of drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend any tour with this company. But ask for Nellie! 😀

Very friendly, warm and smiling guide. - Visit to a small coffee and chocolate farm, then visit to the top of a mountain with a superb view, followed by a quad tour. Very nice day

Mountain tops and dune buggies - Had a really great time. Nelly was an awesome guide. The views, both high and low, were spectacular. Would do it again without hesitation.

Have it all in one ☝️ - Best time with the expert Nelly. Going up the mountains was beautiful 😻, lunch was included and ATV. We stopped by the beach and had coconut juice invited. Would recommend as a tour. We stopped at the house for fresh coffee and chocolate. Nelly is very active and was able to bring her igloo to keep us cool from the hot weather 😊

Excellent excursions in the Dominican Republic - We have just returned from a week's vacation in the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana). We booked our excursions with LatikaTours.
Counting on the good advice and kindness of Bernard and Richard.
Great guides as well as their general knowledge which was very enriching for us.
Very lucky, only 2 of us spent the day on the Safari Excellence excursion (in the company of Richard), who came to pick us up himself from our hotel. Between land and sea we learned, and enjoyed the discovery of this land full of richness (visit to the locals, Montana Redonda with the famous swings with a panoramic view to take superb photos, local meal, quad outing along the 'a wild beach..)
We also did the Saona excursion, boat day, sea, white sand, natural swimming pool, and coconut trees... With all the good humor, a good atmosphere and the music on the boat that goes with it. (Bernard on platinum 😉)
And the outing to go swimming with the dolphins, purely magical to be in contact with these very friendly animals.
We recommend them to you with our eyes closed 😁
A pure joy, from which we will keep great memories!
