LOVELY TRIP - Very interesting afternoon trip. Nice drive to river with commentary by Driver Prem. Then the highlight of the crocodile cruise. The crocs weren't jumping very much and didn't seem that hungry; but they snapped their jaws enough to enable everyone to get some good photos. Nice to hear that the river operation is run by a charity putting profits back into the local community; and to be assured that everything is done in accordance with sound conservation principles.

Great Way to Beat the Heat - Aside from a nice bus tour with a good guide, the Jumping Crocs cruise made our day. Three crocodiles out in the river with a 5 meter/750 kg crocodile impressing us with his jumping.

Top day out. - This was a great tour. The crocodiles were not out in big numbers, but the crew managed to get three of them interested enough to come out to meet us. It was spectacular watching these massive creatures coming up out of the water, and having a go at the meat hanging tantalisingly close to them. The almighty 'clunk' as the jaws of the biggest male slammed shut gave me the shivers actually. I think everybody on the boat enjoyed themselves. The 'skipper' gave us a very good commentary, and the Croc-master offering the grub to the reptiles, gave a virtuoso performance of a Fish Kite's whistle, luring a couple of them to fly in and take tidbits mid-air! Later we stopped at the beautiful nature reserve at Howards Springs, and fed the fish. The tour guide, Roman, was very jovial and well versed in the local history and features. A top day out. I would reccomend highly.

My opinion - The bus driver(Prem) and tour guide were both very good. The guides on the boat were informative, and answered any questions asked. Was not happy with look out over the flood plains it was dirty & we couldn’t go out side

Great experience and tour guide but… - Would otherwise rate it a 5 star experience, given the guide/driver is so informative and funny, which made the bus trip to and from the site very interesting. The let down is in the advertised second view point- fogg dam conservatory is not visited- instead a quick stop over at the Howard Spring park to feed a few fish in a pond. When queried with the guide on this itinerary discrepancies, it was advised that the company has recently changed the route but hadn’t updated the marketing materials (including what’s on TripAdvisor). I am not sure if this is an acceptable explanation for a customer bought the experience for its entirety? If only for the jumping croc trip, $155 is at a high end to pay. I provided feedback to AAT king (via online survey), however, never have received any follow up or clarification etc. Please double check the itinerary before you choose this trip.

Crocs Great. Driver Not - Crocodiles were huge. We saw about 4 hungry crocs in their natural habitat. Super cool. Our drive/guide Warren was not good. Unhelpful, very vanilla in his commentary and driving not great. Company should hire passionate safe driver guides, very dissapointing. Enjoyed the bus plus fellow traveller's who were all excited for what is so symbolic to the nt.
