Great surfing class for absolute first timers - Our son did this before and we brought our friends visiting from overseas. With 4 kids of beginners level we booked a family lesson. The attention and instruction given was fantastic and our teenager kids have a brilliant time. Highly recommended.

Wow what an excellent experience - The best experience of my life. I highly recommend doing this and using this company.
They supplied the equipment needed, explained safety concerns and helped you in the water.
If you are on the fence about trying this, don’t you will remember it forever.

Private lesson for 7 year old - I booked the private surf lesson for my 7 year old nephew. He absolutely loved it. The instructor was brilliant with him and they were surfing in no time. I was able to be in the water and enjoy watching and cheering, knowing there was an adult focussed solely on my child. There was a great balance of safety and fun. I am really glad we went with the private lesson and would definitely recommend!

Fun , fun ,fun. - Fantastic experience. Our instructor taught us so much, felt completely safe in the water at all times . Would thoroughly recommend to anyone embarking on their surfing journey.

Great experience for beginners like us! - Super clear instruction to begin, then help and encouragement in the water. The beach is superb for beginners. Several of us got up on the board multiple times.

A great day in the surf - Instructor, Alex, did a sensational job of teaching my 10 yo grandson how to surf, in fairly challenging conditions down at Middleton Beach. My grandson had an awesome time and is now very keen on purchasing a surf-board and continuing to practice what he learnt.

Fun, Friendly Coaches With Tons of Knowledge - I booked a multi-day package (3 days) and completed the lessons truly feeling like I’d learned so much. By the third lesson, I was standing on the board, turning, and working on my foot positioning. I hardly expected to stand up! The instructors at Surf and Sun meet you where you’re at and are really committed to making surfing enjoyable for each person in their group! I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn/try it out and I will definitely be back!

Such a great experience - My daughters, who are 8 & 10, had their first surf lesson and absolutely loved it. They haven’t spent too much time at the beach, so it was great that they learnt about beach safety first and the technique of getting on how to use the board. In the water they had the coach there to help them out, give further instructions and guide them. They both had the best time, and would love to do it again.
