Level 1: Glacier Waterfalls Tour (7 km, 362 m elevation gain)
Perfect for beginners, this tour takes you to two stunning waterfalls created by glacier melt. It’s an ideal choice for those seeking a nature-filled adventure.
Level 2: Ascent with Natural Transition (10 km, 600 m elevation gain)
This intermediate tour starts with a visit to two waterfalls and continues with an ascent, showcasing the changing vegetation as you climb. From dense forests to sandy terrains, the views of Pico de Orizaba and its glacier are breathtaking.
Level 3: Ascent to Mirador El Calvario (18 km, 3,400-4,000 masl)
Perfect for regular athletes, this route leads to Mirador El Calvario, offering spectacular views of Pico de Orizaba and its valleys at the borders of Puebla and Veracruz. The tour features a gradual ascent.

The Pico de Orizaba volcano is the highest in Mexico. It houses one of the last glaciers in Mexico and hides beautiful natural treasures. We have designed this hiking route so you can enjoy the incredible views of the Pico de Orizaba volcano. Our local guide will explain the flora and fauna of the place. We will visit 2 beautiful waterfalls created by the melting of one of the few glaciers that exist in Mexico, the Jamapa glacier, on the north face of the Pico de Orizaba volcano.
After the waterfalls, we will continue climbing, and you will see how nature changes. In the mountains and volcanoes, trees, flowers, animals and all of nature in general adapt to the altitude. As you go up you will see this change, until you reach the point where the trees stop growing and the sandbanks begin. In this area, you will have unique views of the top of Pico de Orizaba and its glacier, the incredible views will leave you breathless. Book with us!
