Viator and Delos Tours - Life changing travel experience! - I traveled solo from the USA to Athens and was excited to visit Delos. I was nervous, too, as I'm not a highly-experienced international traveler. But, thanks to the attentive and caring staff at Viator and Delos Tours, I was guided through the process every step of the way, even before traveling out of the USA. Once I arrived at Mykonos to get to Delos, Delos Tours / Viator provided door-to-door service - they picked me up from my accommodations and took me to the port to board the boat to Delos. What a relief to have all aspects of travel handled, especially since I didn't have a car. The boat ride to Delos was fun, and I met friendly and interesting people who were as fascinated by Delos as me. Visiting the island of Delos was an experience I'll always remember. The Tour Guide was enthusiastic and delivered a fascinating overview of the island's rich history and abundant ruins and relics. Afterward, we were given time to explore on our own, during which I enjoyed a personal connection with the sacred island. At the end of the tour, I felt fulfilled and grateful for the experience. I was returned home with the same amazing door-to-door service. Viator and Delos Tours made the experience easy and worry-free. I'm impressed and grateful for this five-star service, and will always use Viator for future travels. THANK YOU Viator and Delos Tours! You helped make my trip to Greece a life-changing travel experience!

Good tour, strongly recommend! - I didn't expect much, but soon I realised that was my mistake. Our English guide was passionate and energetic to give us much information and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. My son also enjoyed it!

Captivating - This was an amazing half-day trip. The archeological ruins are so vast - it’s unlike anywhere else I have seen except maybe Pompeii. You see columns and mosaics and pottery and the Delos lions. The boat ride was nice. The tour guide was great. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Greece to get a feel for Ancient Greece. Truthfully I liked it better than the Acropolis. After the guided part of the tour you have plenty of time to wander on your own. And we arrived back in Mykonos in time to watch sunset.

The guide matters…the guide we had was bossy, difficult to understand and a bit boring in her story telling. - The guide was not very good. The tour package was fine but the guide was bossy and boring. She couldn’t make history alive.

You have to love rock piles - The island of Delos is a vast archaeological site. Almost all the monuments are in ruins. The island is desert: there is no tree or shade. The sun stings. There are many cats sleeping at the foot of the ruins. They seem healthy, they are certainly fed. You really have to be passionate about archaeology or have imagination to appreciate this Island. This is not our case. Nevertheless, we had an interesting tour with our guide who nicely counted the history of the site with humor.
