Our next passage will be ‘Gialos’ where we can see all locals selling their products such as vegetables and fishes at their ‘pagka’(wooden boxes) as well as the statue of a Greek hero of the Greek Revolution in 1821, Manto Mavrogenous. We are going then to see the Town Hall old building. It is an elegant, classical two-storey building of 1780 with a tiled roof. Next stop will be ‘Panagia Paraportiani’ one of the most photographed churches in the world, consisting of 5 small churches. Next stop for a coffee break at world famous Little Venice. Our final stop will be the famous windmills dating back to the 18th century.
