Zanzibar/ Dar es salaam - Mikumi National park

Mikumi National Park - Following arrival from the ferry or airport, we leave Dar es salaam for our first stop at Mikumi National Park a 6 hours drive from Dar via Morogoro Refreshments and light snacks will be provided en-route.
We will arrive in Mikumi national park at 1:00 pm. This often affords one an opportunity to see the animals at rest, seeking shelter from the unrelenting heat under the branches of large trees.
A leisurely lunch will be served inside the park. The remainder of the day will be spent inside the park.
The day concludes with checking into the MIKUMI WILDLIFE CAMP and a brief rest before leaving for an afternoon game drive until sunset
We return to the Hotel where dinner awaits us at the restaurant between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m.
