Best wine tasting tour - The best wine tasting tour from Milan! The guide, the tasting, the itinerary, and the food were all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We were looking for a wine tour from Milan and found this tour with all five-star reviews. The other tours were much more expensive or private and had fewer reviews. We met in the morning at the square by the train station and boarded a small bus with 14 other people. The first stop was the city of Alba, famous for its truffles. The tour guide asked the group who would like to have lunch at recommended restaurants, and before we arrived in Alba, he reserved tables for everyone at two different restaurants. The one we went to was phenomenal; it had by far the best pasta we had in Italy during our week-long trip. The food and wines were incredible for a really reasonable price. After Alba, we visited a small, family-run winery on a hill with breathtaking views. We toured the cellar where they age their Barolo and enjoyed an amazing wine tasting with the sommelier (who is also the wife of the winery's owner). She explained all six wines that we sampled. Before heading back to Milan, we visited a castle with a 360-degree view, which also housed a local food store. The itinerary was perfect—never rushed and away from the crowds of big, touristy cities. We returned to Milan with two bottles of the delicious Barolo. A special thanks to Oleg, our tour guide and co-owner of the tour company we traveled with, Abroads Tours. He was very knowledgeable and truly enjoys what he does. He even shared a technique for finding delicious restaurants! 😍😂 Grazie!

Great day in Barolo! - Stefano, our guide was timely, well informed and so pleasant. Our bus was perfect for our group. He shared interesting facts about Italy and the region we would visit. Our first stop was in Alba, where we walked, shopped and enjoyed ourselves on our own. The visit was followed by a tour of a winery and tasting at the Barolo region. Our final stop was at the town of Morra where we saw beautiful landscapes of this Italian wine country. I recommend this tour as our day was excellent and our tour guide was fantastic!!! Grazie mille!!

Wonderful day at Piedmont Region - We are a group of friends who are in our late 40’s, early 50’s who dreamt of coming to Italy and see Andrea Bocelli at the Teatro del Silencio, but we also enjoy wine and history. Today’s tour was wonderful. Stefano contacted us yesterday and made our meeting this morning easy and relaxed. We had a 2 hour drive to the city of Alba, he gave us history of Milan, Italy, Alba, Piedmont and wine on the way there. He is charming, respectful, entertaining and knowledgeable. After lunch (not included) we went to a boutique vineyard at the northwest part of Barolo. We had a tour of the winery and We tasted 6 different wines, 4 varietals in total. It was great. The. We went to town of Morra, where we gad a chance to enjoy the view. All in all it was a very complete tour that made me want to come back and discover more. Thanks Stefano. Respectfully, the Stacker 1
