During our ride, you’ll encounter a multitude of animal species uncommon to a big city. Upon concluding the tour, we will pause for a rejuvenating snack, characteristic of Italian cuisine, in an enchanting location. The tranquil surroundings will make you forget you’re in Milan, only swaying slightly by the occasional glimpses of the city! Red metro (M1) direction "Rho fiera" get off at "BONOLA" and walk 5 min. In case it was more convenient for you to take the lilac metro (M5), direction "San Siro stadium dazdazn" and get off at the terminus to take the bus n.64 (direction Bonola), and get off at "Piazza Rosa scolari".

Blissful way to enjoy a different side of Milan - Davide was a fabulous guide and host. He pre-arranged the correct sized bikes, accommodated both an accomplished cyclist and a less experienced cyclist in the same pairing. The whole experience was very relaxed, a great way to get away from the heat of Milano city, and as your name suggests, a chance to see a different side to Milan than the usual tourist hotspots

A brilliant, chilled tour of Milan's natural beauty! - This was my personal highlight of my trip to Milan! I wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre and this was the perfect oasis to retreat to...it was full of beauty - rice paddies, lakes, woods, wildlife like rabbits and frogs and herons! Davide was a brilliant tour guide - passionate about his local area, chilled out and very accommodating. It was a breath of fresh air to discover a new, more natural part of this wonderful city. I would totally recommend to anyone looking for an alternative Milan experience!

Do yourself a favor and book this tour - You’ll step out of Milan’s urban jungle and immerse yourself in a different (better) kind of “jungle” — beautiful scenery that you wouldn’t expect to see in a city. It is literally a breath of fresh air and the perfect way to end a busy day of sightseeing, museums and whatever else bustling Milan throws at you. The tour is an easy ride even if you aren’t an experienced rider. The picnic by the lake is an especially nice touch and makes it a very relaxing experience. And Davide is a such fantastic guide. He adapts to your pace and has so many stories to tell that you won’t get bored. He also gives great recommendations of what to see and places to eat. Highly recommended!

Nice time in nature! - We had a great trip with a great person. Davide gave us a great afternoon. He told us lots of interesting stories from this area of Milan.
There was also a delicious aperitif. We were able to see squirrels and turtles up close. Davide was even able to save a small turtle that had gotten lost on the road by releasing it on the lake shore.
We had a fantastic trip with a fantastic person. Davide had to pass a fantastic walk. He told us lots of interesting stories about this area of Milan.

Great bike tour! - We went on The Milan You Don’t Expect Tour and were blown away by the vast areas of park and woodland close to the city. The enthusiasm of our guide was contagious and we really enjoyed the 17 km with him. Mountain bikes are provided, including helmets if desired, and the terrain was varied and interesting. The pace was flexible and we used various stops to discuss history, learn about local farming, and take in the city vistas. Our picnic was at a comfortable lake spot where turtles swim right up to the edge. We would recommend this tour! Thanks again for a nice afternoon!

An absolute must do! - This was an amazing trip, Davide took the time to take me on the tour on my own which meant a lot given he could easily have cancelled. He's an unbelievably nice guy and it's great to spend some time outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. A must do if you enjoy being out in nature!

Wonderful cycling in the outskirts of Milan - If you want to discover Milan outside the shopping area and Duomo this is a must.
Enjoy cycling in the parks near San Siro, with a surprising amount of nature.
Very friendly Guide Davide, who has guided us fine.

Nice ride outside of Milan - We had a wonderful time with Davide. We were a little late and wished I had gotten better directions from the Metro. He led us through several parks and had a nice snack with wine at the lake with lots of turtles. The only reason I gave this tour a 4 star, is we rode a lot of "wooded trails" which was hard for a few riders in our party. (Maybe I missed that on the description.) Just be aware. But Davide was very patient and helpful with our group. We all enjoyed getting out of the city.
