Dive into a private culinary class at a Cesarina’s residence, unearth the mysteries of prominent Milanese dishes, and savor your creations with a sip of regional wine.
Throughout the session, the Cesarina will divulge the secrets behind preparing 3 genuine Milan recipes. Enjoy challenging your culinary prowess. Every participant will be given a work station complete with cooking tools and necessary ingredients for the recipes. Subsequently, relish the dishes you’ve prepared, accompanied by a variety of local red and white wines.
Cesarine represents Italy’s oldest network of over 1000 home chefs spread across more than 120 cities. These hosts, passionate culinary enthusiasts, welcome curious travelers into their homes for engaging gastronomic adventures.
- Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

Incredible cooking experience in Milan - Our cooking class with Enrico was incredible. He and his wife were so nice and the instruction for our classic Milanese meal was great. It was a good mix of instruction as well as hands-on cooking time. Every dish was delicious and we loved getting to know more about Enrico and his family. Highly recommend if you’re in Milan!

Cooking class with Sandra - FANTASTIC - Cooking class with Sandra in her home in Milan was exceptional. Beautiful apartment, comfortable setting, scrumptious appetizers, wine from Puglia, homemade limoncello, pasta making of tagliatelle and spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli, …yum! The lightest pasta we have ever tasted…and we made it! Thank you, Sandra. You made this experience our best in Milan. Yes, we will be back to see you again.

Private Cooking Class in Local's Home in Milan - Sandra greatly spoiled us with our 1st cooking class experience in Italia! She made it relaxed with music (we all ended up singing along)and enjoyable with generous wine pours and light-hearted conversation while she educated us on cooking techniques. She explained each ingredient used and laughed along with us while documenting our experience with photos and videos. Sandra has a 7 year old sourdough starter and I have never had more delicious bread in my life. I would book this tour over and over with each visit to Milano just to spend more time with Sandra.

Phenomenal Personal Class - Our class on tagliatelle was absolutely everything we hoped for! Santa is such a wonderful human, passionate about the process, a fabulous teacher. And the food. Phenomenal!
We made memories this day with Santa that we will never forget.

Great way to experience local Milan - Me and my family had a wonderful time at Sissi's during our dining experience. We were a lot of people (7) with many different dietary requirements and she catered to them all and prepared a delicious 4-course dinner. She was also a lovely host and had a beautiful home. I would definitely recommend it!

Would give more stars if I could. - I would give it more stars if I could. This was the highlight of our first Italy trip. Santa was a great host, very knowledgeable, and had a lot of patience to dedicate to all 6 of us individually and as a group. We learned tips and tricks that we'll use for life and look forward to entertaining our friends and putting the recipes to good use. We made tagliatelle, ravioli and My favorite: Tiramisu :) - Highly recommend booking it with Santa Calia in her own cute and adorable home!

Learning craft and beauty by preparing a traditional Italian meal in Milan - We stayed in Milan for three days and had booked a Cesarine Cooking Class the day before, however, at the last minute our host was unable to meet us that evening. The team at Cesarine immediately rebooked our same cooking course with Nicoletta and Fabio B. who were welcomed us into their beautiful home. Our family had a wonderful time learning about Italian food culture and how important the right quality ingredients of good food, traditional preparation methods, and joy are to make an amazing meal of Ossobuca and Risotto Milanese that is meaningful and memorable for a lifetime. As we were dicing onions and removing the zest from lemons, Fabio explained his family’s recipes that have been passed down through generations. We ended up eating our meal in their beautiful dining area adorned with family history collected from their travels. From a wonderful Nebbiolo red wine to Nicoletta’s limoncello we enjoyed a wonderful evening. Nicoletta even suggested restaurants to continue our Italian slow food experience that embraced local food and traditional cooking on our travel route and her recommendations were amazing. We are believers of Cesarine’s mission of preserving the craft and beauty of traditional Italian cuisine.

Fantastic cooking class - I had a really great cooking class together with Annamaria. We made pizzoccheri, mondeghili with salsa verde and pesche al forno. The food was very delicious and I had a really great day.

Very authentic Italian cooking experience! - We loved our experience at Martina’s home! We learned how to make 3 Italian dishes including ravioli and tiramisu. Martina was very accommodating and her home was lovely. This was one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommend!
