Highlights
  • Santa Maria delle Grazie - Our accredited tour guide will meet travelers at Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie and will introduce them the beautiful Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie and its buildings: the church Santa Maria delle Grazie and the building where the Last Supper is located that in XV th century was the refectory of the Domenican Monastery.
  • Il Cenacolo - Leonardo’s masterpiece, the Last Supper, one of the world’s greatest painted masterpieces occupies the end wall of the previous refectory of the XVth century Domenican Monastery. Painted by Leonardo between 1495 and 1498 portrays the Apostoles seated together with Jesus when Jesus announced that one of them would betray him. The Disciples’ emotion transpiresfrom their gestures, mouvements and faces and contrasts with the apparent immobility of Christ who dominates the centre of a rigously symmetrical composition in perfect perspective. The painting was miraculously untouched by the August 1943 bombings which damaged the nearby cloister and part of the church.
  • Santa Maria delle Grazie - The Church Santa Maria delle Grazie is one of the most stunning masterpieces of Renaissance style in North Italy. Built in XVth century as the private church of the Sforza dukes.

It was a wonderful tour... - It was a wonderful tour and the viewing the painting in person is breathtaking. Don’t book tour on Sunday because you can’t tour the church which I wish I knew earlier!! I’d you like us and that is only day then do it!

Beautiful Experience (with the exception of the guide) - Our guide was a bit on the snippy side. She made some snide remarks about the Americans Bombing Milano during WWII. We could have done without her attitude. Know that when you go to see the al fresco, you only have about 15 minutes in there due to the numbers of people who want to see it. Highly recommend (just hope you get a good guide)!

Way overpriced tour - The price is not a good balance for the product that is received. A large group of 29 people is not a great value and does not give the chance of interactions and asking questions. It is anonymous and very commercial. Kudos to Olga, who is doing her best to tell the great story of the Last Supper but the setting is far from perfect ....for this price. I have done a similar visit in 2019 with a small group and live interaction (not the mike and headset thing) and it was way different and truly memorable. This masterpiece is not a checkbox exercise but a real and moving experience, which this time could not be felt unfortunately.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! - DO NOT book with this company. They cancelled half my group. Then later on, after I paid and shortly before our trip, they cancelled the rest of my group. I had to be on the phone with Viator for an hour and a half and pay a lot more money to book a tour to replace it. Really put a damper on the excitement of our trip. HORRIBLE communication. No reason given for cancellations.

the viator experience was... - the viator experience was terrible. I have used viator twice and both times we had a terrible experience. Tours by locals is much much better. If someone from the company would like to reach out I would be happy to discuss

Save your money and find a cheaper tour - This tour is completely overpriced and the guide was average at best. She also does not go inside with you. Luckily we got paired with a bigger group whose guide went inside with them and she was great to listen to. So skip this tour and find the cheapest option to see the Last Supper which is definitely worth seeing but does not need a guide quite frankly.

Disappointing - We paid over $640 for four people to have a mediocre to bad experience. Our tour operator changed our start time without consulting us and without enough time for us to know about the change. Then the tour guide spoke for only 10 minutes of the 45 minute tour before reading the brochure to us while we waited to enter the church. She gave us free time to explore instead of giving us a tour. Viator “investigated” when we informed them and we were told after Viator looked into it, the tour operator told them we actually had a good tour and what we experienced was standard as they always read from the brochure. Viator completely disregarded our feedback. Definitely not worth over $640 for four people. We canceled our other Viator tours and will not use their service again.
