Portugal - The train ride was beautiful, I wish I had had more time in Tirano, it was very fast and did not see anything in Tirano. But the train trip is wonderful. I loved the snowless Alps.

Bernina Train review - Fantastic instruction and Omato and Ali - the tour guide and driver - were brilliant. The tour ran on time, they were polite and explained everything really well. The tour it self was very enjoyable and the scenery breathtaking.

Bernina Express departing and returning to Milan - I gave it 5 stars as it was exactly as advertised and no fuss. Met the guide at the train station in Milan. Boarded a bus and departed on time. Drove to St Moritz. We bought lunch at a local restaurant. Then met up with the guide and boarded the Bernina Express train. Journey was picturesque. This tour company books its own carriage. Got off the train after almost a 2.5 hour journey just before Tirano. Bus directly back to Milan. Its an 11 hour day but excellent value for money. Sometimes the weather could hamper the views, so if you can manage it, check weather prior to booking .

Train ride on Bernina Red Train - Had a wonderful time but this advertisement failed to warn that this was 3hrs in bus, 1hr on train & 3hrs back to meeting point. We stopped 3 places, Piantedo for a bit & restroom break, St. Mortiz where we were rushed to shop & eat in 1 hr before getting on train. Then heading back we stopped at Tirano for coffee 30 min & back to Milan. Wish we could have stopped at one of the vineyards, so many in Tirano!

Make sure to get a good spot on the train - Long bus ride, also your experience on the train depends on the seat you get. I would highly suggest making sure to get a seat on the left side as you enter the train. Otherwise, you may not have a good experience. Tour guide did not seem to enjoy her job. She didn't really talk about the places we were in and didn't have anything to say at all at the last church we visited. It was a good choice for me as I injured myself and couldn't walk a whole lot, but there is a lot of sitting on this trip.

The excursion is not as described. The cost is high without being worth it and I don't recommend it. - Minimum free time.... and they did work in the whole area trucks and cranes did work on everything unsuitable month for tourism.
