Highlights
  • Milan - The day tour starts when you meet your English-speaking guide in central Milan. From there, a private air-conditioned coach will take you across the border to Switzerland through stunning scenery and your guide will be on hand to fill you in on the sights.

  • Lake Como - The best way to experience Lake Como is by boat. A relaxing private boat will allow you to view this tranquil landscape from the water. As you float by, your guide will point out famous villas used as locations for Star Wars and James Bond movies along with the homes of international stars like George Clooney. You’ll also have plenty of time to take pictures or just take in the view with a refreshment from the onboard restaurant.

Arriving back in Milan in time for dinner, you won’t believe you managed to see so much in one day, and without ever feeling rushed.

  • Bellagio - You’ll visit the stunning town of Bellagio, often called “the pearl of Lake Como”. Your guide can offer recommendations, but it’s up to you whether to go shopping, sample the local food or simply soak up the charming atmosphere.
  • Lugano - Nestled at the foot of the Alps you’ll find Lugano, another lakeshore town. Also called “the Monte Carlo of Switzerland”, this Italian-speaking Swiss town is a playground for celebrities, athletes and entertainers, boasting luxury shopping and fine art, scenic views and a bustling city center. Visit the church of Santa Maria degli Angioli, where Bernardino Luini painted ‘Passion and Crucifixion’, regarded as Switzerland’s most significant Renaissance fresco. Head downtown to browse luxury goods and rich Swiss chocolate. Whatever you’re looking for, Lugano has something for you.

A Must Do! - Our guide, Josephine, was excellent! She was friendly and knowledgeable. This was the best day I’ve had so far on my trip. A must do if you are in Milan, and especially if you’re like me and want to get away from a big city like Milan.

Least Compassionate - Can't beleive that I lost 200 euros for a tour that can't even wait for 2 mts even after multiple requests. Afterall it is Europe where people are on leisure vaccation and it's not London / US where it has to be sharp on time. Useless call centre agents who can't communicate properly. I have explored the place on my own with the quarter of the.money given to city tours. Never going to book with city tours or viator again. 🙏

Do not go - A disaster before it even got started. No pre-communication led to confusion from the start. Booked to many people than the bus would hold (some asked to get off), started off late, no communication prior to the trip had some other visitors missing items, the driver (Antonio) had a meltdown and was yelling (at the trip Director?) in Italian, trip Director (Mikela) kept apologizing for “typical Italian drama.” Omg. The worst. Everyone deserved a refund after that disaster.
