Surprisingly fascinating tour! - Our tour guide really seemed passionate about the subject. We learned a lot about the colorful history of La Scala. They were very good at keeping us connected via WhatsApp. Definitely recommended.

Excellent Tour of La Dcala - Wry knowledgable guide (can't recall name, please insert). The surprise of seeing the tech rehearsal for Turnadot was amazing. The history of La Scala is fascinating, shared with humor and insight.

Not warned re facade and theatre lights. - Facade was covered and no lights were on in the auditorium for our tour(being tested out). Disappointing.Talk was informative. Luckily was able to wait after tour and auditorium lights were turned on so we could ‘see’ the theatre.

What could it been a great experience. - The tour guide was good but when was time for us to go in,the security guy at the theater told us we had to wait because it was too many people inside, meanwhile he’s still let others go before us until somebody went inside to claim the injustice. That left us all with a bitter taste of negativity, unfortunately.

Amazing place; tour overly long. - It would’ve been better if it had been a little shorter in each room. The history was interesting and the facility was magnificent. The tour guide was knowledgeable!

We were disappointed that... - We were disappointed that we were only able to see the theatre from the box seat and this was only the first 15 minutes. The museum side was interesting but wish we could have seen more of the theatre

Not an eye opening tour - Seeing the theatre with the lights on from one of the boxes! Tour guide mumbled, barely made eye contact and only provided one piece of information that couldn’t be gleaned from the displays inside the museum. Tour was incredibly expensive for very little value. Skip this one!

Not a tour of the theatre - We never got into the theatre. We saw a minute or two of a ballet rehearsal through a plexiglass window in one of the theatre boxes. However, the theatre and boxes were dark. Never saw the theatre decor, red velvet or any part of the theatre except for a foyer. The tour centered around a small museum full of miscellaneous opera related items. The guide did her best to be informative and engaging. Over half the people left mid tour. Very disappointing. Don't waste your monies.
