Additional Information
A very Small-Group tour departing from Milan Central station for the transfer, either by train or by minibus, to Lake Como where we take a short walk in the charming village of Varenna and adjacent area. Afterwards we experience a 15 minutes public ferry boat cruise for another perspective of this landscapes beauty! Getting back in our minivan we drive along a panoramic section of the lake shore with spectacular view heading toward a restaurant possibly where they serve some local dishes: lake fish and/or cheese sauced buckweath pasta, venison and cured meat etc (on your own expenses, average € 30/35 per person) and after that we explore the nearby off-the-beaten-path region nestled in the breathtaking Alps mountains where sometimes we do a short visit of a small local farmer or producer (on your own expenses, average € 20 per person). Finally we either take the train or minibus for the return to Milan Central station.

- Travellers must have a good physical fitness level and especially it is not recommended for people with heart problems or other serious medical conditions being a long day (12 hours) and involving some uphill walk and stairs.

Wonderful tour of the Lake Come area. - I highly recommend this tour. Luca was really friendly and helpful. He went the extra mile to make sure the tour was smooth and enjoyable, as well as providing us with the rich history of the region. I particularly enjoyed visiting the dairy farmer and learning about their way of life. The Lake Como area is breathtakingly beautiful, and the sites selected in the tour weren't crowded either. We didn't have much time to waste on a tour that wasn't great, and this was especially so. Everyone in the family enjoyed this tour. Thanks, Luca!

Our most memorable private tour in Italy! - Our tour of Lake Como was exceptional! Paola, our knowledgeable guide, met us at Centrale Station. As we traveled by train, she shared fascinating information about the history and various towns we passed through. Upon arriving at Lake Como, our friendly and skilled driver, Ivan, greeted us.
Paola took us to Vezio Castle just as it opened, ensuring we were the first to enjoy the breathtaking views of Lake Como. She provided valuable insights into the history of the castle and the surrounding area. We visited several towns, enjoyed delicious gelato, and had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant.
We also toured Bruno's place, where he showed us his family's corn production space and cellar. Bruno was a gracious host, offering us drinks and snacks while sharing the history of his family and neighborhood. A little rain didn't dampen our spirits as we continued exploring this beautiful region.
Paola showed us two more towns before traveling back to Milan with us. Thank you, Paola, for packing so much into our private tour and giving us a deep appreciation for the beauty of Lake Como. We highly recommend this experience!

Beautiful memory - As we were the only couple on this trip Alexis and Andrea customized the trip for us which was truly amazing. They went above and beyond our expectations by giving us options and tailoring our tour to our requests. They truly are the most amazing team. Alexis spent extra time with us at the train station after our train was cancelled and reschedule for a later time. This shows real commitment to customer care. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Relax and Enjoy - Our trip to Lake Como was absolutely amazing. The entire day was well organized and relaxing. We were met by Luisa at the train station, and she guided us onboard the train. We were met by Julia on the train, and then met Luca when we reached Varenna. We were able to see the highlights in Varenna, and then made our way by ferry to Menaggio. The drive around Lake Como offered great views. Luca was personal. friendly, and a wonderful guide. We had a very relaxing lunch mid-day. We enjoyed the company of fellow travelers. Overall, this trip was fantastic from start to finish, and we are grateful to our hosts for a great day. Thank you!

Great Day at the Lake !! - We had the good fortune to spend the day with Giula and my wife and I were the only ones so we had her to ourselves.
We meet up at the train station - but make sure you walk up the main stairs and across from Door C - Bar Centrale to meet. We asked several people working at the station and they were clueless where Bar Centrale was.
Varenna was the first stop and we toured there initially. The tour included Castello di Vezio, a ferry across the Lake - a beautiful lunch stop, and apple farm, and lots more.
Overall - in spite of rain- it was a great day made even better by the fabulous Giula

Perfect day seeing beautiful spots of Lake Como - My mother and I really enjoyed our day with Lucca, seeing all the small and large beautiful nuanced spots and valleys of Lake Como would have only been possible by car and with a seasoned guide. Really memorable, Lucca is super warm and welcoming, it felt like we had made a good friend! The local lunch in a remote town was also spectacular and lake como was even beautiful on our cloudy misty day!

The best way to visit Lake Como! - This small group tour was amazing and the highlight of our vacation. Clear instructions were provided about the start of the day, and we had a great train ride hosted by Paola, who was able to provide history/commentary about the area. We then met up with our amazing guide, Luca, who had planned an unforgettable day. He is very knowledgeable about the area, and very thoughtfully organized the activities to avoid crowds and see authentic sites off the beaten path. We saw amazing views of the lake and mountains, visited a castle, took a ferry across the lake, visited multiple towns/villages, had lunch at an amazing restaurant overlooking the lake, toured the valley north of the lake with vineyards and meeting locals, and so much more. Too many things to write about and all with Luca’s fun personality and historical commentary. This did not feel like a tour but a fun day hanging out with a friend or family member. Do yourself a favor and book this experience!

Lake Como small group all day tour. - We had a great time. The locations were great. Our guide, Silvia, was great. We covered most of Lake Como, saw a castle, had a fantastic lunch in a restaurant that no one would find on their own. We only had 3 nights in Milan and no car, so this was a perfect way to see sights we otherwise would have missed. This tour is for small groups so is very intimate. Highly recommended.
