BELLAGIO - TOP DESTINATIONS IN EUROPE - My wife and I continued our 40th Anniversary trip from Milan up to Lake Como - Bellagio. We booked train passage to both the village of Como and Varena. The path to Varena provides more spectacular views of Como along the way. We are in a beautiful ARBNB in Bellagio with spectacular sunset views from our terrace. Very short ferry ride over. Everything is breath-taking.

Searching for George Clooney.... - With a house on Lake Como, George Clooney seems to be a main "attraction." But there is so much more to the Lake experience. Arriving in Como from Milan, we visited the Blessed Lady of the Assumption Cathedral which was built starting in the 15th century. After a cappuccino, we embarked on a cruise to Bellagio passing large estates and small villages along the way. Alex, our tour guide, was excellent and eager to share information about the region.

The tour was good but a little stressfull! - Good tour! Amato was a great friendly tour guy! The last boat ride was too long! No need for such a long 2 hours boring ride!! Then walking 2 miles at the end to get to the bus was not fun after a whole day out there! I would recommend for that last boat ride to end at one of the several stops it made where the bus could wait for us and avoid that late arrival back to Milano! Also, a sign of the tour name on the bus or at the bus stop at the meeting point would be helpful! We had to go asking all the buses parked at the meeting point area to find our bus!! It took us 30 min to find it!

Spectacular time in Bellagio - Giving it a 3 star because the description of this specific tour is very misleading. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bellagio. However the cruise around Lake Como is literally a local ferry ride that makes stops at each port from Bellagio to Como and that was the worst part of the trip. Being in the heat for 2 hours was very uncomfortable. The views are spectacular. However if the cruise description was accurate then we would have opted for a private boat option and gotten in the water to make the experience more enjoyable.

Como Ferry trip - Our guide was excellent, she explained everything in great detail and was very helpful. Bellagio was beautiful but very busy as expected, 2 hours here then a wait for a trip on a public ferry, not a cruise. It was crowded, hot and took over 2 hours to reach the last stop of Como. This was the highlight for us but as we only had half an hour here it was very disappointing.

Bellagio lindo and Lake Como and the beautiful city. - The beautiful place! The Tour not very well, very little information of the sites, in Bellagio the boat is very uncomfortable, makes 2:30 hours return journey and is uncomfortable. No historical information

Stressfull - The tour was great but the time advise from Viator was incorrect, this tour finishes at 7:00pm and not 5:30pm. We found this out on the tour and had to book emergency ferry’s and trains to catch our flight home in time.

Disappointing - Tour was not as described. Description says limited to 15 people and we had more than 40. Only spent 45 min in Como not 3 hours as outlined. Contacted tour company with no response.
