Wonder, art, courage and faith - This year Illegio hosts its twentieth exhibition of sacred art, entitled "The Courage". It will still be open until November 3. I was lucky enough to go there on a sunny Sunday that also allowed a walk. a new parking lot was opened closer to the exhibition building, very convenient. The exhibition houses 40 works, some very rare (they come from Secret Collections, not accessible). The time frame in which it runs is very wide and exhaustive, from ancient Greece to the middle of the 20th century. The exhibition was also visited by President Mattarella, who, very impressed, said that: "The exhibition is a message of extraordinary importance. It is not just an artistic manifestation, but a message that invites us to reflect on the meaning of life and the human condition." Some big names are particularly eye-catching: Caravaggio, Bernini, Guercino and Kandinsky, to name but a few. Particular credit to the guides, all young, kind, patient and very prepared.

Amazing - The restoration work done on the painting of the last supper was so beautiful. With the new technology, they have done a great job bringing it back true to life.

Progressive museum with great interactive features. - We loved our time at Leonardo3 and would highly recommend! Our trip to Milan was a short one so we chose this as our 'Leonardo activity' over others that we felt would take up more time and we were very pleasantly surprised. We booked online and got inside straight away. We found that the writing next to exhibits were in Italian but that each item had interactive features which were in English. This meant that we came away feeling like we still gained great insight into his life and work. Its a very progressive museum with amazing interactive features throughout and shouldn't be missed.

Good Substitute - This is fine if you are not able to see the actual Last Supper painting. For the price the exhibit is great and focuses heavily on the inventions of Leonardo. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
