Amazing tour and wonderful guide! - This was one of the most enjoyable tours I have taken. I cannot recommend it enough. It is long, so it would be difficult with small children, but an incredible day and our guide was fantastic!

Wonderful Experience - Very pleased with the tour. Our guide (can’t remember her name) was very knowledgeable. She really knows her history. Of course it’s a walking tour but it was not as bad as I expected. The heat was the only downside but it didn’t ruin a once in a lifetime experience.

I would definitely recommend. - Everything was very organized. The tour started on time; the guide was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions on other places to visit and eat after the tour. He even called a taxi for me and checked on me until the taxi arrived.

Only in groups - Finding tickets to the Cenacolo on your own is almost impossible, so we took this 3 hour walking tour of around 30 people. You have to arrive to the office in front of the Castelo Sforzesco a few minutes ahead to show your printed ticket and get the headphones, that are mandatory for all guides. After turning on the device, we got instructions and the ticket to the Castle. We made a short tour of the building and then got in the Pietá’s room. We had enough time to admire it. Then got free time to have a refreshment (too hot for coffee), bathrooms or souvenir shop. Then we walked to Santa Maria delle Grazie, a few blocks away. We first visited the church (the tour guide insisted on covering the shoulders and cleavage, and I was lucky and prudent to bring a shawl) and then had to wait because the scheduled groups were running late. After 20 minutes, our group went through the 2 previous chambers that control weather and humidity. We had enough time to admire the mural, in better shape than I expected. Pinin Brambilla had a fantastic feat returning this painting to almost its original beauty.

Once In A Lifetime - This tour was exceptional! Our professional guide, Chiara, was an encloypedia full of interesting knowledge about every bit of the tour which is what a tour supposed to be. She spoke clearly and took care with our group to make sure we were comfortable (it was 95+ degrees) while we walked from one area to another. The finaly was the Last Supper room and we were able to take as many photos (NO VIDEO) as we wanted which was great. This final rant isnt about the tour but i had to get it out...As NY'ers we have the reputation of being rude. You ain't seen nothing until you've experienced Europeans...just saying.

take your passport, dont be late, cover your knees and shoulders - i You buy your ticket online. You then go to an address before hand to pick up the ticket so do not be late! You then follow the tour lady to another address to pick up another ticket, this is where you show your passport. You then get in another line to enter the building. You then get in another line to get into the room to see the artwork. You cannot film in the room. You can take a photo but not with a flash. You cannot have any liquids etc. You also should have your knees and shoulders covered because you will enter a church on your way there. You will see the artwork last. Exit through the gift shop. The tour lady has a lovely voice and makes me want to be Italian.

Good but expensive - The tour is good but a bit overpriced considering that the ticket for portar is 8eur and 15eur for the last supper. That means anything above 23 eur is the cost of the tour guide, profit and overhead. It seems excessive to pay 60 eur per person or so just for 3 hours of tour with one tour guide in a large group of 30. In essence you pay for the fact that they have pre booked tickets which you won’t be able to get. Expensive but good last minute solution. About 40 mins of the 3 hours are spent waiting to get into the Last Supper. Actual tour duration would be approx 2h15 max 2h30 excluding waiting period.
