- Please wear comfortable shoes, preferably with a rubber sole. During hot days it is recommended to wear a sun hat
- Due to increased security measures at the Duomo some lines may form. Additionally, strict rules apply to enter the visit the Rooftop (no knives, no scissors, no glass bottles, etc.)
- The elevator has a maximum capacity of 7 people
- The monumental complex might close the elevator used to descend for security reasons; in this event, the descent will be done by stairs

A Must See Tour Experience - The rooftop tour of the Duomo was positively dazzling. The combination of artistry, the sheer volume of spires, and the care devoted to their design and placement was beyond our wildest imagination. One cannot capture this experience by simply looking upon from street level. The tour guide was outstanding, with just the right mix of content, tempo and humanity. This tour was the highlight of an already exceptional vacation in Italy.

Stunning Rooftop Milan Duomo Tour - Our rooftop Milan Duomo tour was wonderful! Our guide, Mikayla (sorry for the spelling if incorrect), was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. She was also very patient with people on our tour who had difficulties with the heat and stairs. The views from the rooftop and the Duomo itself were stunning. Thank you, Mikayla, for showing us the Milan Duomo in such a memorable way!

Great chance to see the Duomo up close - Go early and worth it to see the Duomo up close. Guide was average, but the opportunity to see the top of the Duomo was amazing.

Recommended - This was a great tour. There is so much to see on Duomo rooftop that eye can’t catch from the ground. It is definitely a special feeling. Unfortunately ot started pouring in the middle of our tour but there was nothing our guide could do. We were all soaked but I also find that a special and unique experience :-). Our guide was super knowledgable and I really enjoyed learning from her.

Stunning - The rooftop is absolutely stunning! Somehow, we did not realize that this tour did not include entrance to the actual cathedral. Not a big deal and we were able to buy a ticket on the spot. And I’m sure it was our mistake that we didn’t notice that. Our tour guide was informative. It was very, very hot at the end of the day so I think a morning tour might have been preferable. Certainly worth a trip to the top!

Duomo under Scaffolding, check before booking - We did this tour 15 months ago, so wanted to book it for our adult children visiting Milan for first time. Unfortunately it was under scaffolding- a lot of scaffolding- so not really worth it.

Beware - They allowed us to go up to the roof during a severe thunderstorm with lightening striking nearby rooftops, high winds and very slippery conditions instead of postponing the excursion. We were stuck outside on the steps unshielded. Anyone could have mortally wounded. Granted it the weather was overcast while awaiting our ascent but we had no idea (my family and I) about the severe thunderstorm warnings.

Do this on your own - Very disappointed in this tour. It was not well coordinated, we had a difficult time staying with our group as people not in the tour were coming in and out of our group. We didn't feel like there was much history offered from our guide and weren't sure how time to stay in each stop, and we got separated often. This was a sight I wish we would have done on our own.

Viator should warn clients that even if there is an elevator at half point, the rest you have to go up&down many stairs. - Beautiful, but not worth the hassle of going up & down the stairs. Viator mentions: AGE GROUP—0-99 yrs. This is ridiculous! You must warn older people about the stairs & the lifts especially when it’s SO HOT at 4:30 pm. Older people can faint of the heat & exhaustion. I know you’ll frighten some clientele, but at least you warned them. Do you offer SKIP THE LINE MILAN DUOMO ENTRANCE? I WANTED TO SEE THE INSIDE OF THE DUOMO.
