Amazing Tour Guide - Our tour guide, Lara, was amazing. She took her time in order for us to get to know the locations and provided us with time to explore the cities. She showed us around first and then allowed us to explore. Super nice and approachable...She was a wonderful tour guide.

Verona & Venice is ❤️ - Our Verona & Venice tour were fabulous. Thanks to our Tour Guide Laura Baratti from Amigo Tours, she was amazing & very professional. I love the way she interacts with the tourists (like me & my family) she’s very friendly & cool, as if you’re on a day tour with your friend.❤️ All I can say is, this package tour & the Tour Guide deserves 100% rating for me, highly recommended 👍🏽👌🏽

Laura was an amazing... - Laura was an amazing guide! She was very informative and accommodating. We rode a gondola during our free time in Venice and she worked out a separate meeting location with us to make it super easy for us. She spoke English, Spanish, and Italian and switched between them flawlessly. So glad we booked this tour to visit both cities and would highly recommend!

A trip to Venice and Verona by bullet train - A bullet train ride to Verona and then Venice made the journey there relatively quick, sparing time for sightseeing both places. With a small group for the trip, our tour guide, Laura, was able to interact with the group on a one-to-one basis. She gave regular updates on expected arrival time, and allowed for sufficient time for all to get breakfast, lunch and water. She speaks English well, is friendly, and knowledgeable about the places we visited. The tour does involve quite a bit of walking. As the train departs at specific times, the tour cannot wait for late comers. Arriving early is a must. The tour does allow time for free activities. Doing a gondolla ride is definitely a must do. I found a tour mate to ride together and cost share. One gets to see Venus from the gondola's perspective, and in a way, allows one to enjoy Venus without feeling the crowd. We logged in 20,000 steps during the tour. There are some steps to negotiate on the bridges in Venus. The walking was otherwise mostly on flat, paved ground. Comfortable shoes and plenty of water would be essential.

Complaint - My mother and I took the Verona and Venice tour with the guide Alejandra, on March 27, 2024, starting at 7 am at Milano Centrale. We took a 20-minute walk from the train station to Verona and vice versa. To Venice from the train station it was 30 minutes and vice versa. It is a tour with very aggressive walks that could be covered since there is transport in both Verona (bus) and Venice (vaporetto). Guide Alejandra is not very attentive, she doesn't care about people's well-being. Both walks were done at a very fast pace, with no time to take photographs and enjoy the landscape. Guide Alejandra didn't care in the slightest about the group and whether everyone was following along. In Venice, the guide Alejandra offered to take us from Ponte di Rialto to Piazza de San Marco. First, I said it was only 3 minutes. Then he checked on Google Maps that it was 5 minutes away, but after walking for about 20 minutes, he showed us a random square as being San Marco. Either the guide Alejandra doesn't know what Piazza de San Marco is, which is very serious, or she thought “I'm going to show these stupid tourists some random square”, which is also very serious. He even tried to get around the situation, when we complained about the walking time, saying that 3 minutes in Venice was different. Alone, using Google maps, we were able to go from this square to Piazza de San Marco, which took 7 minutes, and back to Ponte di Rialto, which took 9 minutes. In Milan, we took 2 tours with get your guide which went beautifully. The guides were extremely attentive, concerned and really knew the places we were visiting, explaining all the historical facts. I don't recommend this tour to anyone, it's very tiring. It's not a ride, it's torture. The Alejandra guide deserves a score of 0, because there is no negative.

Awful experience - The tour was supposed to leave at 7am. We had arrived early, and couldn’t even find where the tour guide was due to the lack of instruction, and unresponsive guide. I messaged the guide through the app, and no response. When we called to ask for refund, TripAdvisor refused to grant it even though we had arrived early AND the tour guide was no where to be found.

Don’t take any tours with “Amigo” - Mariela was nice accompanying the group. When arrived at Verona there was no guide tour we had to pay for taxi back and forth from the terminal to do our own. At Venice again to tour guide waiting for us. We paid a lot of money and ended up doing the tour on our own and Amigo did not care. I requested a refund and they claimed that the guide was new and misunderstood the instructions so they didn’t show up and no refund. This was very disrespectful to the group and everyone was upset.
