Amazing Tour Guide - Our tour guide, Lara, was amazing. She took her time in order for us to get to know the locations and provided us with time to explore the cities. She showed us around first and then allowed us to explore. Super nice and approachable...She was a wonderful tour guide.

Fun day trip (although time in cities is a bit short) - Our tour guide Gaia was nice and very helpful!! Our train was delayed and Juliet’s house was closed while we were there which was a bit of a bummer, but Gaia did her best to still make our trip enjoyable and take us to see everything she could in the time we had. DO NOT take this trip however if you have any sort of mobility issues or are older and struggle to walk. You may have to walk very fast at times on difficult terrain (uneven cobblestones, stairs, etc) and if you are not in good physical condition you will struggle to keep up. The travel was a bit rough and I wish we could have had a bit more time but as long as you don’t expect a lot of down time in the cities it’s very enjoyable. Overall I had a great experience and it’s the best way to see so much of the area in one day.

Complaint - My mother and I took the Verona and Venice tour with the guide Alejandra, on March 27, 2024, starting at 7 am at Milano Centrale. We took a 20-minute walk from the train station to Verona and vice versa. To Venice from the train station it was 30 minutes and vice versa. It is a tour with very aggressive walks that could be covered since there is transport in both Verona (bus) and Venice (vaporetto). Guide Alejandra is not very attentive, she doesn't care about people's well-being. Both walks were done at a very fast pace, with no time to take photographs and enjoy the landscape. Guide Alejandra didn't care in the slightest about the group and whether everyone was following along. In Venice, the guide Alejandra offered to take us from Ponte di Rialto to Piazza de San Marco. First, I said it was only 3 minutes. Then he checked on Google Maps that it was 5 minutes away, but after walking for about 20 minutes, he showed us a random square as being San Marco. Either the guide Alejandra doesn't know what Piazza de San Marco is, which is very serious, or she thought “I'm going to show these stupid tourists some random square”, which is also very serious. He even tried to get around the situation, when we complained about the walking time, saying that 3 minutes in Venice was different. Alone, using Google maps, we were able to go from this square to Piazza de San Marco, which took 7 minutes, and back to Ponte di Rialto, which took 9 minutes. In Milan, we took 2 tours with get your guide which went beautifully. The guides were extremely attentive, concerned and really knew the places we were visiting, explaining all the historical facts. I don't recommend this tour to anyone, it's very tiring. It's not a ride, it's torture. The Alejandra guide deserves a score of 0, because there is no negative.

Not great - We began the tour at 7 am, the guide met us to take us to the train station to begin the tour. The train to Verona took 1.5 hrs. It was not particularly comfortable but bearable. We then arrived in Verona and walked for 25 mins from the station to the town, we then had just 30mins of "free time" to go off. We then walked 25mins back to the station. From Verona, we then took another train which took another 2.5hrs! On a regular stuffy and un-air-conditioned train in 33 degree heat, It was a very uncomfortable experience. We then arrived at Venice, The tour was incredibly rushed, we were being rushed through the streets of Venice with had no time to take any photos of any of the canals or streets on the way, we walked for 50 minutes to st. Marks Square, in the heat. we then had 55 minutes "free time". Which is barely enough time to order a meal at a café. We did not get a chance to see/enter the cathedral or any of the sites. Some old people in our group found it very difficult to keep up As the guide was moving very fast and some older people had medical conditions and had to abandon the tour. Very disappointing. We then were taken on a really stuffy boat to meet a train which then took over 4 hrs to get back to Milan. It was very disappointing to do something we could have done ourselves if we knew it was just hopping on public trains. We are going Monday again ourselves so we can see the sights. Many other people on the tour were disgruntled. The raw data facts was 7.2 hours of train travelling time for 1.4 hours of "free time" to explore.

Not enough time spent in Venice . - To sum it up - we spent almost 8 hrs of train rides to and fro, about 2 hrs of walking, 40 mins in Verona and 60 mins in Venice. That 60 mins is to eat, take some pics, soak in the sights and back at the meeting place by the docks for a 10 mins boat ride back to the train station. Forget about the famous gondola ride because there’s no time at all. Lesson learned? If there’s a next time, I would take a train to Venice and stay a couple of days to enjoy it and never on a summer day. If you do take this tour, wear your most comfy walking shoes and water bottles plus lots of non perishable snacks. Ciao!

Tour guide never showed but took my money! - I booked a tour for my mother and I as we were visiting Milan. The tour guide never showed, nor did they answer any of the messages I sent the morning of. Spent $357.94 for nothing and requested a refund, which the company is trying to dispute and not release back. This is highly irritating and unprofessional. Was truly disappointed as I never had any issues with any other company on Viator. I do not recommend using this company.
