The driver will collect you from your hotel reception or Airbnb, provided parking is available. You will then be taken to the airport for your flight to Izmir. The package includes roundtrip airport transfers in Istanbul and roundtrip Izmir/Ephesus flight tickets from Istanbul for those who chose the “from-to Istanbul Hotels” option.
• Izmir - Upon arriving at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, your tour guide and driver will greet you at the arrivals terminal exit, holding a sign with your name. You will then be transferred for an in-depth exploration of Ephesus and its surroundings. If you prefer to start this tour from your hotel in Izmir city center, your tour guide and driver will pick you up there and drive to the Ephesus district for your private day trip. Pickup services from Izmir city hotels/airport are available for guests who booked the “from-to Istanbul Hotels” or “from-to Izmir Hotels/Airport” option.
• Bodrum - Your tour guide and driver will collect you from your hotel in Bodrum and drive to the Ephesus district for your private day trip. This service is available only for bookings made under the “from-to Bodrum Hotels/Airport” option.
• Kusadasi - Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kusadasi and drive to the Ephesus district for your private day trip. This service is available only for bookings made under the “from-to Kusadasi Hotels” option.
• Virgin Mary’s House - Your first stop will be the last home of the Virgin Mary. Upon arrival, you will be captivated by the natural beauty surrounding the monument. The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council in 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the house’s discovery, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited and prayed there.
• Ancient City of Ephesus - Ephesus was one of the most significant harbor cities in the ancient world and is mentioned in the Book of Revelations as one of the seven churches. The Celsus Library and theater in Ephesus are other highlights. You will visit the Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan, Grand Theater, Hercules Gate, Odeon, Ancient Toilets, and many important historical buildings in this UNESCO-listed ancient city.
• Ephesus Experience Museum - At the Ephesus Experience Museum, you will travel back in time and immerse yourself in the mystical atmosphere of the ancient world. With the museum’s innovative approach, you will enjoy a mesmerizing experience where time breaks free from its static confines and dances in perpetual motion, bringing historical artifacts to life and presenting interactive visual spectacles that will leave a lasting impression on your memory.
• Ephesus Terrace Houses - During your tour, you will walk in front of the Terrace Houses, and your guide will provide information about the Terrace Houses of Ephesus Ancient City.
• Selcuk - You will stop at a traditional Turkish restaurant for lunch, which is included in the guided tour. After lunch, you will experience a traditional handicraft cooperative and receive a lecture about the special arts of Turkish villagers.
• Basilica Of Saint John - You will visit this ancient Basilica dedicated to the author of Revelation, St. John. According to legend, St. John died in this church after writing the Fourth Gospel, and the Basilica was built by Emperor Justinian over St. John’s burial place.

• The local tour operator can request your some passport details for the bookings of your roundtrip Izmir flight tickets from Istanbul. If you do not share the details, your domestic flight tickets can not bookable.
• The local tour operator will send e-tickets of your domestic flights at one day before your tour date. You will not need the print out copies of the tickets for domestic flights. Your passport and reservation number on the tickets will be enough for check-in to plane. Please note that, the local tour operator will not do check-in because of the personal preferences of the guests.
• Roundtrip airport transfers in Izmir is include for the bookings to option of “from-to Izmir Hotels / Airport”. If you did not book this option, you can not get any of these services.
• Roundtrip airport transfers in Bodrum is include for the bookings to option of “from-to Bodrum Hotels / Airport”. If you did not book this option, you can not get any of these services.
• Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults. If you will be 1 adult + 1 child, the local tour operator can request & charge the amount of 2 adults.
