Great - It was lovely to be on a smaller boat - not so crowded and better able to see everything without having to fight for a good spot.

More intimate tour on a smaller boat - We chose Mitre Peak Cruises because they had good reviews. The reviews were accurate. Their vessels were smaller than most and they made sure that their boats weren't more than half full, so the experience was more intimate and you never felt crowded when taking photos of the many amazing sights.

Best Milford Sound experience ever! - 10/10 recommend Mitre Peak Cruises. I’ve been to Milford Sound a few times and the cruise with Mitre Peak was by far the most memorable!

Great small boat experience - We liked the smaller boat compared to the other companies on the sound. The boat was very comfortable and the guide was informative. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Wet april but amazing - It was outstanding the drice towards the parking is quite long but it's worth the drive and you will see some things you never have seen or will see in life. The guide is quite informative so the 2 hours are gone before you know it.

Great experience - Our cruise was wonderful, the Fiords looked spectacular on a misty morning. We saw bottlenose dolphins, waterfalls and sea lions. Our guides were friendly and informative, especially the young man (sorry I've forgotten his name!). He chatted with us throughout the trip and told us so many interesting facts. Thanks team!

A great experience for a tourist - The Milford sound is one of the true natural beauties of new Zealand and this cruise certainly exemplifies this beauty. The boat we went on was well kept and had a good amount of space compared to others. The sound quality of the speakers wasn't good enough to hear anything the captain or crew were saying which was a bit of a let down as would have been good to hear a bit about the local area. 2 hours is also too long for the tour itself, it could have easily been an hour long as the boat heads out into the open ocean simply to drive down the coast and turn around in the open ocean (adding 40 minutes to the overall journey) understandably this is for economic purposes but isn't required given the beauty is in the sound. All in all a really pleasant experience however could have been shorter and would have had the same amount of enjoyment simply by staying in the sound.

Bit disappointed, after... - Bit disappointed, after travelling for 5 hours from Queenstown and paid 1200 for our group booking, there was not much to watch. Our cruise was also small as compared to other operators. Tea / coffee was also cold, no option to heat up.
