Grand Canyon National Park - Located in northwestern Arizona, Grand Canyon National Park is the 15th site in the United States to be designated as a national park. The park’s main attraction is the Grand Canyon, a gorge carved by the Colorado River, often regarded as one of the Wonders of the World. Covering 1,217,262 acres in Coconino and Mohave counties, the park welcomed over six million recreational visitors in 2017, making it the second most visited American national park after the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Grand Canyon was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Visitors can enjoy the Grand Canyon South Rim by helicopter or miniature aircraft at their own expense.

Horseshoe Bend - Horseshoe Bend is a notable landmark within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Grand Canyon National Park, and the cities of Page, AZ, Kanab, UT, St. George, UT, and the Navajo Nation. The boundary lines are quite close in some areas. About nine miles downstream is where Grand Canyon National Park officially begins. A favorite on social media, Horseshoe Bend has become one of the most recognized and visited spots in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

Lake Powell - Situated in northern Arizona and extending into southern Utah, Lake Powell is part of the Colorado River within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. In Page, prepare to be amazed by Antelope Canyon, a world-renowned photography destination, the Lower Canyon translating to “arch-shaped spiral rock.” Finally, enjoy a scenic drive across the Colorado Plateau towards the Lake Powell National Recreation Area.
