***************** RIP OFF ALERT ************* - **************************** RIP OFF ALERT ************************* This is not a golf resort as advertised, but rather a time-share property that rents out outdated and poorly maintained condos. The rooms are small and dirty, with carpets that were heavily stained and filthy; my socks turned black within minutes of walking on them. The only positive aspect was the polite front desk staff upon checking in. I booked and prepaid my stay through American Airlines Hotels, with no mention of resort fees or additional charges. However, after leaving, I received an unexpected invoice for $136.78 via email. When I tried to resolve this with the front desk, I was repeatedly put on hold by a staff member named Alley, who eventually stopped answering altogether. Even after multiple calls, I received no satisfactory explanation or resolution. Due to the lack of responsiveness and the unexpected charges, I had to involve American Airlines Hotels and my credit card company to dispute the charge. I strongly advise against staying at this property and recommend reading other negative reviews for accurate insights. The experience was far from satisfactory, and the issues encountered were unfortunately consistent with what others have reported.
