Fun experience - This was a cute experience if you’re in that part of town and have a little extra time, I would recommend it. I was able to pick out the design of the stamp and was given a detailed explanation of what the characters of my name meant. While the stamp was being made, I got to practice writing my name, as well as some other characters. It was fun to try.

Bring Back a Piece of Japan with you - This was such an amazing experience. I learned what my name meant, how to write it in kanji, and I was even able to try writing it. The best part is I'm leaving Japan with a stamp memorializing my whole experience.

Perfect as a souvenir. It is close to Roppongi Station and easily accessible, so it is a Recommendation! - I made a Reservation because I have 5 friends from America and they want rice. They put my name in Chinese characters. My friends were overjoyed to go and say it was cool. It is a Recommendation as a souvenir. The people at the shop were friendly too!

Perfect as a souvenir!!!! - I purchased 4 custom hanko stamps as souvenirs for my family. Having our names written in kanji made them the perfect keepsakes. If you provide your names in advance, they will display the meaning of the kanji on a large screen in a video. My whole family was able to enjoy the experience together. I highly recommend it!

Friendly and interesting - Kana was a friendly and skilled teacher and went above and beyond in teaching me kanji characters, trying different brushes and different papers. I found the presentation of the meaning of shodo (calligraphy) interesting, and the program came with a beverage of choice, the matcha latte was cool and delicious.
