We loved it - SO MUCH FUN. I loved everything about it. We were able to slow down and put our creativity to use. My boyfriend and I didn’t expect it to be that fun Definitely recommend to anyone.

Great first experience with pottery making - Even though it’s just an hour, and we had no prior experience, we actually managed to create some ceramic tableware. We loved it! ❤️

Japanese pottery - This is an excellent guided pottery class guiding the tourist through various aspects. Note that it will be fired and picked up later but it is worth it! They can ship. Reasonable pricing

Fun change of pace to fill an afternoon - Staff was very kind, super helpful and supportive, and spoke excellent English. Overall an excellent experience. Note that if you want to take anything home there are additional fees to fire, glaze, and ship (if needed) - which can be pricey. The finished items won't be done for a month or so. This class is likely similar to ones you would do in any other city around the world, nothing particularly "Japanese" about it (thought not advertised as such, so not necessarily a bad thing). Fun experience overall, worth the time and money as long as you understand the whole picture.
