A super nice evening and perfect entry for our Japan trip - Just landed in Tokyo we met with the super friendly Sandra for sake, cocktail 🍸, whiskey and pairing tour. We then started in a so-called Antenna-Shop where products of a certain region of Japan are offered, mainly also for people from Tokyo who miss their home region. There we had a small sake tasting with matching aperitif accompaniment. In addition, we were immediately introduced to the courtesies and table manners of Japanese culture. Sandra also had matching little cards with good memorabilia. She had accompanied us the whole Japan trip 😊 Afterwards we went through the streets of the Ginza district and also a few small secret alleys further to the plum wine tasting. There was also a matching accompaniment in the form of umeboshi and a fanzy potato salad Cornet - also very delicious. Then we went to a small restaurant for Tempura delicacies and even had a glass of regional white wine that could quite compete with European wines. The end was then a visit to a mixlology bar, they actually had a specially suitable glass for each cocktail. We definitely had a super nice evening and a fantastic start for our Japan trip. Thank you very much

Kyoto sake tour - My husband and I did a Kyoto and socket tasting tour with Russ. He was a great host and coordinator for the day making sure we had a great experience. It was fun to go explore the breweries in Kyoto Who is very knowledgeable about stocking making, and the Japanese culture

Feels more like a night out with friends than a tour - We had such a great time and our guide, Sae, is amazing .By the end of the evening it felt like we were old friends. Our favorite stop was an authentic izakaya where the menu was entirely in Japanese. Thankfully Sae ordered an amazing meal for us to pair with sake including delicious namafu and creamy Yuba skin, both specialties of Kyoto. It was so fun to explore the city with a local expert who took us to some of her favorite places.

A Great Tour & Great Guide! - Josh was a great guide, very friendly, informative and great fun. He made sure that we also drank water as well as tasting some really great and unusual cocktails particular to Japan. He asked which we preferred cocktails or more whiskey based - I like both but my husband preferred whisky, so Josh took us to a bar to taste different Japanese brands. He also showed us a shrine which we never would have known was there and explained the culture and worship behind it. He told us lots of interesting things about Tokyo. He was much better than the guide the Travel Company we arranged the holiday with on arrival the day before to Japan! He made an enourmouus effort to ensure that we had a good time - I would highly reccommend him.

Best Foodie/Drink Tour - Thomás was our guide for a group of 9 family members. It was his first time to handle a group that large and he did an amazing job. Our tour was arranged to be held in quieter places where we could all hear with was being said and experience both the fun food as well as the cocktails, sake and whiskey. It more than met our expectations and I would recommend anyone who wants a fun guided evening with both food and drinks to use this company's guide services. The price may look a little pricey but we did 4 foodie tours during our 3 weeks in Japan and realize that you get what you pay for. This tour was far and away our best.

Amazing experience from start to finish :D - Amazing amazing tour! From the hosts to the hidden gem stops, it's truly for people who want to get a local experience and would be uncomfortable trying to figure it out on their own. I normally don't go to bars on my own because i'm a little intimidated by the language barrier. However, being on this tour made everything so easy and I learned so much. I got to try a matcha martini which was totally the highlight of the tour!

Amazing experience! - Although I am studying in Tokyo this was absolutely amazing! We went to places I have not been to before and many of them only accessible if you are a local! Our Guide was amazing and shared many stories about the area and Japanese culture. We even went to a stylish cocktail bar where we were able to choose a drink made with Japanese ingredients and got a chance to try Wagyu beef jerky. So delicious, I absolutely loved it!!!

Amazing tour- wonderful guide and fabulous food/drinks! - We loved our tour with Mario! He took us to 4 stops- beer, fried pork katsu sandwich, sake and a cocktail bar. He had a lot of knowledge to share and every stop was top notch. We saw a lot of places we would never have known existed. The cocktail bar was particularly special- every drinks was a work of art. He also promptly followed up via email with photos of our tour and great recommendations for the rest of our time in Tokyo. Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing food and drinks tour! - We did the luxury sake and cocktail tour with Mario and it was fabulous! Mario is very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He took us to great local places and ordered delicious small plates to share and try Japanese specialities. The Dassai sake tasting room was extremely cool and a great way to learn about sake. The final cocktail bar we visited was Mixology Salon. I have never been to such a creative and inventive cocktail bar- it was truly mind blowing how intricate the cocktails are that they make. 6 out of 5 stars for Mario- he is wonderful!
