Jonatha was a great guide! - The experience started with a trip to a local coffee shop that grows and roasts its own beans. What a treat! I love coffee, and it was great to hear the different ways beans are harvest and to sample the effect on the flavor. I took a bunch of tours in Peru, and Jonathan was a true standout. His English was excellent, and he explained everything slowly and carefully. Can't recommend enough.

Lima Expert - Lima Expert This guided walk around Lima was the real deal. Jonathan was above exceptional, competent, knowledgeable in Lima history and local lore. He was personable, sensitive to my food tastes, flexible and found the perfect experience for me. I wanted a real Lima food experience and Jonathan did not disappoint. We went through coffee shops and all around the market place where we sampled foods I had never seen or eaten. Loved every minute of it and got lots of photos. After choosing a few items to take with us to try he took me for a cooking lesson and we made the freshest tasting dishes. This was an amazing experience, so if you are looking to see and learn about Lima and the foods that are abundant here, this is it!

4 hours well spent - The tour started at Terrua Cafe where the owner served us a delicious coffee that is made from beans grown in his farm in the Andes. Then to the market where I tasted my new favorite fruit, chirimonga. In the cooking class we made ceviche and fauna. All this with our delightful guide, Sergio. A well spent 4 hours.

Delicious and interesting food tour! - We loved our tour with Sergio!! He shared interesting information about Peruvian food history and culture. We enjoyed cappuccinos at a local cafe, took a walking tour through a local market, and finally learned how to make our own ceviche and causa. Pisco Sours and Chillcanos were also part of the day. We could not have asked for a better experience.
