- Jiron de La Union - Once the city’s most important road, Jirón de la Unión was known for its aristocratic atmosphere and famous residents. Today, it is a popular commercial street, but its historical significance remains.
- Iglesia y Convento La Merced - The convent and church of Nuestra Señora de la Merced are as old as Lima itself. Historical records indicate that the land on which they were built belonged to the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy. The church features various reredos, including a fire-gilded altarpiece with an image of the Virgin of Mercy, who was declared the “heavenly protector of Lima” in 1615.

First, we will go to the San Martin Square, you will learn a little about Jose de San Martin and the history of popular gatherings in the square, from there we will walk through Jirón de la Unión characterized by being the most aristocratic and where the most famous inhabitants were meeting, along this walk you will find yourself amazed by one of the most beautiful churches in Lima, La Merced.
Finally, well be arriving to the Main Square of Lima where you can find yourself amazed by the history of its buildings and a few blocks from there we will visit the Catacombs in the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco.
