Best cooking class and Peruvian experience - Honestly this was the most amazing experience. My daughter loved it, my dad who wasn’t interested in cooking class ended up loving it. Truly wasn’t a tourist experience, it felt like you really learned and experienced Peru cooking class from a local and not some business

Learn to cook authentic Peruvian food - A fabulous experience! Get to know the real Lima, it's food and culture, it's people and neighborhoods. Paula and her family were incredibly warm and gracious and the food was wonderful. A definite must do.

Home cooking in Lima - Paula offers a genuine local experience, shopping at the market, travelling on the bus to her home, meeting her mum Mercita and preparing gorgeous causa, ceviche and pisco sours in their apartment. Everything was fresh and made from scratch and we enjoyed a lovely meal as we learned about day to day life in Lima. Before we left, Paula gave us great recommendations on her favourite Lima museums and restaurants and where to find the best coffee in Miraflores. All in all a great experience which I can really recommend for any visitor to Lima.

Wonderful morning and great lunch. - We felt very welcome and comfortable in the home of hostess Paula following a brief visit to a local food market and bus ride. This a very real experience where you get to learn how to make great Peruvian dishes and drinks, but also gain a real insight into local culture and lifestyle. Paula’s family provided excellent encouragement and back up support, particularly when I created a Pisco shower rather than a Pisco sour (embarrassing for me but they had seen it all before). Can highly recommend and they give you the recipes too, so you can try when you get home. Great fun that is best followed by a siesta given the great food and drinks.

Unforgettable dinner - I had an incredible evening with my hostess Mechita. She is a wonderful cook and she explains every step and makes it happen. The ceviche was incredibly delicious and I'm looking forward to cooking the dishes at home for my friends. A big thank you also goes to the wonderful Walter Manuel, who translated everything for me and moderated the evening. I can highly recommend the two and now I wish you a bone provecho

Just do it! - I had an absolute woderful time learning to prepare authentic ceviche, tapas, and pisco sour with Paula and Mechita. Paula is a great host and guide, and a fountain of knowledge on local cuisine. The trip to the market was a nice way to kick off the afternoon and get to know the rest of the group. Mechita and Paula received us in their home and provided an unforgettable experience in an authentic homely Peruvian setting. I definitively recommend this to anyone who would like to experience a very special bit of Peru and have memories to cherish and some new skills to take with you.

Home cooking lessons. - Started with 15-20 minute walk through Mercado #1 next to Miraflores. It took over an hour to get to the casa near Plaza de Armas for the lesson. Some of that traffic & some the driver getting lost. Maybe a vehicle change because it was only the two of us. We weren't shortchanged instruction time though. We have some experience with making cheviche & Pisco sours, but did pick up some tips that will help us make them better. The Causes were easy to make. And tasty, but extremely filling.

Home cooking - It is a cooking class at a home, in Surco. A quick stroll through Mercado #1 next to Miraflores, then a hour in traffic to get to the house. The class covers the same dishes as other classes; cheviche, Pisco & causes. The class was informative and the portions you get to try, ample. Still waiting for the promised recipes & photos from the class.
