Hake Tours / Pachacamac tour - The Pachacamac tour was amazing! It seems that not many people know about Pachacamac as it was very quiet. There’s lots to see and the museum, artifacts, and temples are brilliant. My guide Leonardo was excellent. He was so informative and friendly and he was telling us about the different areas of Lima on the drive and the legends surrounding the islands off the coast that you can see from the sun temple, as well as everything to do with Pachacamac. It was obvious that he enjoys what he does in how he presented all of the information and the stories about Lima and Pachacamac. I would really recommend Haku tours in general. They’re so easy to contact and will work with you to make sure you get what you’re after. I originally booked through Get Your Guide and contacted Haku tours about a different trip as I’m a solo traveller and some trips require 2+ people to run. It meant that the tour I booked through GYG had to be moved to fit it in but they took care of everything and really keep you updated.

Very informative tour - Leonardo was a very knowledgeable friendly guide. We were the only people on the tour. He took us all around the ruins. Very informative about pre Inca civilizations and very good at explaining things. The ruins themselves were OK, some well reconstructed, others barely discernible. Getting to the site, gave a very good glimpse of how people live outside of the hotel districts. Would definitely recommend this tour.

The tour was excellent... - The tour was excellent overall! We were picked up precisely on time at our location, our guide Aura was fabulous and very informative, and we enjoyed our time learning about Pachacamac. The actual site was much larger than I expected. Make sure to bring sunscreen, and reapply it while you are there, as there is zero shade and it is hot most of the year. Would go again!

Pachacámac tour must see before Machu Picchu - Leonardo was extremely knowledgeable about the Lima, pre-Inca, and Inca cultures. He explained what we were seeing as we walked through the ruins and museum. Would recommend this before heading to Machu Picchu. Our driver was amazing too!

Great combination of an interesting destination with a competent tour company - It was just my husband and I on the Sunday morning excursion, in comfortable transportation. The guide Cesar was excellent, very motivated and well trained. Take a hat and water and apply sunscreen if it's sunny, as there is a good walk to the Pyramid of the Sun (it's worth it, of course!). The place is impressive, and the museum, with beautiful contemporary architecture, has a captivating exhibit that complements the experience. Don't forget to go to the store! Everything there is beautiful, made by women from the local community. At the end, the team left us close to where we were going to have lunch. Perfect tour, in every way. I recommend Haku Tours!

An amazing place to visit in Lima! - Pachacamac is an amazing place to visit! A piece of living history 40min by car from Miraflores. Our tour guide, César, was the best guide we had during our trip to Peru! If you have a chance, ask for him. He knows every thing about Pachacamac and explained It to us like a excited history teacher! He also gave us real good recommendations on where to go and what to eat (even dropped us there).

Great overall tour. Needs to include water. - The tour guides were very knowledgeable about this area and took us through to see all the highlights. We did not bring a bottle of water with us, as it said it was included in the program. I would recommend you bring one with you, as the excavation site is outside in an arid region, where temps got pretty hot. Fascinating to see how this site works with other areas we saw throughout Peru linked via the INKA TRIAL. Museum was surprisingly modern, with the best of what has been found to date from these sites.
