A professional chef will lead the session, providing you with easy to follow instructions of how to prepare some of Peru’s most popular dishes, including Ceviche, Lomo Saltado and Causa. The culinary experience includes history of our dishes and background on some local unique fruits, vegetables and spices. Meal ingredients are pre-setup for convenience and to maximize your enjoyment. We will start the session learning how to make a Pisco Sour, Peru’s traditional drink. For each dish, you will have the opportunity to prepare your plate using culinary techniques explained and guided by our chef, to make delicious food but also providing you the flexibility to adjust ingredients to your taste preferences (how spicy, salty, etc….). Premium ingredients are used in all of our dishes, received fresh on the day of the cooking class. Come hungry because there is plenty of food to be enjoyed in this wonderful experience. FInish it all off with a nice espresso and local dessert tasting.

Rafael's dishes rival those of the best restaurants in Lima and not only are they delicious but the presentations are stunning! A highlight of my time in Lima!

A beautiful entrance to Peruvian cuisine - A great experience! The course is very well organized (no downtime). We discovered the preparation of typical dishes of Peruvian cuisine. I particularly enjoyed learning Pisco Sour and making ceviche. Mine was as good as in restaurants! The atmosphere was friendly (pisco smiling helping) and the explanations very clear. I recommend without hesitation. An experiment to try!

Fun way to learn about Peruvian cuisine - This class was an amazing way to understand and try the highlights of the world-renowned Peruvian cuisine! Our chef was Victor, who did an excellent job of describing each dish along the way, providing background and history of the dishes, and answering all our questions. It was so much fun to get involved with making the causa and ceviche. Everything we ate here was delicious and the meal was so substantial - we had to take leftovers home with us. This experience has been a highlight of the trip!

Best cooking class - I recently attended a Peruvian cooking class with Chef Rafael, and it was an outstanding experience. The class felt like dining at a 5-star restaurant, but with the unique twist of learning to prepare the dishes yourself. Chef Rafael guided us through the process step by step, explaining the history and cultural significance behind each ingredient. By the end of the class, we had prepared and tasted three exquisite dishes, each more delicious than the last. It felt like an upscale brunch with a personal touch, making it truly worth every penny.
I highly recommend going with an appetite, as the portions are generous and satisfying. One highlight was the pisco sour – hands down the best I have ever tasted. The setting, a beautiful and cozy hotel in Miraflores, added a special charm to the entire experience. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to dive into Peruvian cuisine, learn from a true expert, and enjoy incredible food in a wonderful atmosphere.
