Our journey commences from the vicinity of Casablanca, which is positioned just 9 km from Misfat Al Abriyeen. We utilise 4WD vehicles to travel uphill. From there, we make our descent down the mountain, tracing the path our ancestors took, leading us to a farming village nestled in the heart of the valley. Along the way we halt multiple times to soak in the arresting views. Our expedition continues with a trek through the valley in the direction of Misfat al-Abriyyin. We navigate past the suspended farming terraces of the Eastern Hajar Mountains, meandering water channels, and under the shelter of palm trees. The grand finale of our journey is a visit to a local cafe in Misfah.
