Fun at Fairground Style event. - Pleasantly Good. Tucked away in one of the industrial-style sheds along Kirkham Street, Bowral is an excellent eclectic collection of fairground and amusement arcade equipment. I am meaning carousels, music boxes, pipe organs in extravagant designs, gypsy wagons, and antique buggy’s, etc. Basically a world class collection of fairground epherma. As part of the “savour the unexpected” series of events around the Southern Highlands, someone had the idea of having a circus style themed event, with participants receiving numerous cocktail drinks, and a fresh canapés ( of various, and varied food/taste types ) while viewing the collection, and throwing in some circus acts to help fill the night. They even cranked up three of the pipe organs for sound and visual effects. The overall event was like being beside and inside the stage of both the tapis rouge, and stage of a CirqueDuSoleil show. Whilst not overly cheap, the hundred or so guests were dealt a particularly pleasing evening with good vibes and good will all round. Overall, a great evening, and if as one organiser suggested that it will be back next year, they were quite right to suggest it will probably be more crowded, and that this years early adopters were probably lucky to be able to attend in a more comfortable environment. Whilst the event was excellent, the only downside was that it was impossible to air-condition such a cavernous space on a reasonably sharply cold Bowral evening. Bring a jacket or jumper if you go in winter to a similar event. Great evening out.

A great personalised pet friendly tour - Pete's personalised tour was fantastic! He even accommodated our request to bring along our dog Molly for the day. We went to three dog-friendly cellar doors, all were a little bit different and all had great wines and friendly staff. Pete had booked for us in advance and we were warmly welcomed at each venue. In the middle of the day he even offered to take us to a fourth vineyard as we were making good time but we were having such a great time at Sutton Forrest Estate we opted to stay there longer for some more wine in their lovely sunny garden. Pete was very flexible and really tailored the day to us which made it so enjoyable and stress free. If you're looking for a more personal wine tour Pete's your man.

Great way to see the highlands - Pete designed a great full day tour with my partner, mum and sister. This was our second tour with him and we very much enjoyed the day. The timing was a big plus as we didn’t feel too rushed and were able to experience the best of each tasting. Pete is also very knowledgeable on the area with interesting facts along the drive.

Great weekend away - Had a lovely trip with Pete around the boutique wineries of the highlands. We also visited joaja distillery which was fantastic. My husband really enjoyed gin and whiskey tasting. We will definitely be back. Peter made it a great day, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and was very accomodating. Thanks Pete!

Fabulous day out in the Southern Highlands - Pete was an amazing tour guide we had so much fun! There were 4 of us such a comfortable ride. Pete was so knowledgeable and told us some great stories about the area not to mention the great wineries he took us to. Nothing was too much trouble . Fantastic day touring the Southern Highlands wineries - Had a fantastic day hosted by Pete. He chose a great mix of wineries, a couple we never knew existed, and a fantastic spot for lunch. Pete was very knowledgeable of the local area, showing us a few sights while travelling to and from the wineries and creating a nice, relaxed vibe where we could take our time at each venue. Would definitely recommend as it was a much more personalised experience than the bus tours.

The best way to experience the southern highlands - Pete is the absolute messiah of the southern highlands. So much information & knowledge as we got to experience the beautiful region for the first time. Pete also facilitated all of the places that we wanted to visit & organised wine tastings & booked lunches on our behalf. If you’re away on a lovers weekend like us or a double date this is one of the best ways to see everything in one day. Thanks again Pete!!!

Very special private tour experience - The tour was amazing, great wineries, comfortable vehicle and the tour guides knowledge of the local area and his general conversation really made the day an exceptional experience. Fantastic Highlands Experience! - We enjoyed our tour very much. Peter was great! Very informative about the Vineyards we visited and the Highlands area. We were picked up and dropped off from our accommodations, then toured around to 1 distillery (Joadja) and 3 Vineyards (Artemus, Dawning Day & Sutton Forest Estate). I think Artemus was my favourite. The day was spaced out nicely, so you didn't feel like you were drinking the whole time. We had lunch at the Sutton Forest Inn which had great food too. Lovely old pub with great outdoor space. We Highly recommend this Tour!
